    Default First box , first Grow

    Hey everybody. I came across this site and really learned a lot. Now im pretty sure im ready to start a grow.. Had some 2x4s and plywood laying around so i put this box together. I already have my Lowryder #2 seeds from attitude waiting. ..let me know what you think.

    I just painted the inside white and drilled two holes for ventilation..I also installed the lights..ill have pics of that soon.

    Looking pretty good, Are you using LED's or CFL's? and one thing you might want to think about if your using CFL is to isolate the CFLs and have a separate ventilation system them. it will help your plant in the long run by staying cooler, unless you can pump ac right into the box to keep it cooler. my box is 3' by about 20" deep 2.5' tall with 4 cfl that are isolated with a separate cooling system from the plants room temp is at 75 degree's box stays around 78-84. and the lighted isolated area stays close to 91

    Ill be using CFLs just checked out your grow..nice..ill have to try that if my temps get too high.

    UPDATE: OK SO FAR 2 OUT OF 3 LOWRYDERS HAVE GERMINATED..KEEPING FINGERS CROSSED FOR THE THIRD ONE..


    I FINISHED UP MY BOX AND PLANTED THE seeds..

    They sprouted and are growing pretty fast..Is it bad though that the very first leaves are kind of curling down on the top one? Any input would be appreciated.

    Its been about 4 days since they sprouted..i transplanted the two bigger ones today...The third one was planted 2 days after the others. I also added another 26w CFL. I think its goin good so far
