hello everyone
I have been a keen smoker since for quite some time now but for probably the past year prices have gone mad! your bog standard eighths are £25 (used to be £20!) and eighths have gone down from 3.5 grams to 2.8!!!!! and all the fucking weed we get these days has been dried superfast so its still damp and by the time you dry it out its like 2 grams and harsh a s fuck!
in light of these greedy capatalist times , I have decided to grow my own
so then
started growing a bagseed about 2 months ago under an 18w t5 as a exsperiment and hav recently upgraded her (sapphira) to our lovely 600w gro closet , she turned out to be a pure sativa and is flourishing nicely, right now shes about 2ft and were gunna flower her as soon as we have somewhere to do it
the other little ones are 3 weeks old and the seeds came from Flying Dutchmen ; Pot Of Gold . I would highly recommend them, 100% germination rate, excellent plants, very good quality indeed, they all germinated within 12 hours!
the blue and white widow were free and are feminized from Dinafem
were using two 300w (not equivalent) cfl's.
sugar and yeast fermentation c02 enrichment.
we live in a ridiculously humid climate and the humidity is between 60-80% (were working on getting it down)
temperature is between 25-30c during the day and about 19-21 at night

looks good man, I too am a closet grower and use books and dvds to lift my plants to the light haha.
yea , we had to cuz the sativa in the corner is so much older than them, we noticed after we posted it that in one of the pics u can see some boobs on the cover of a bizarre mag we used lol

UPDATE!!!
so its been a whole week since i started this grow journal so i thought id better update it
we moved the pure sativa bagseed out of the closet, took all the books away and spaced the plants better cuz everything was getting a bit crowded,currently flowering her in another closet with 14 14w cfl's
the day after i posted the pics, they all got a serious P/K deficiency, but after a flushing that took ages and ages they seem to be doin fine
they all seem to have a indica super dense canopy , so those 300w cfl are certainly penatrating enough, yay!!! cuz we were worried they wouldnt be as good as metal halide but seems to be just fine
so have a look and please comment

looking good man, so your only using 2 300w cfls for the entire grow? or are you switching to another light?
yea their not equivalent btw , one of those 10 inch bulbs and at the moment they each produce about 25000 lumens but unlike metal halide its really close to the plants so they extract alot more light (inverse square law) and its 100% PAR so the maths is all sound, but will be adding quite a few more cfls for side lighting when they get bigger and then loads more when they flower (along with red bulbs of course)Originally Posted by HardCorps420

the grows coming on okay, the pot of gold are all very densely bushy and squat, they have still all got a slight potassium deficiency; we're feedind them everyday at full strength with a fertiliser but they just can't seem to get enough
the freebie dinafem white and blue widow are looking quite healthy, quite a bit taller than the pog, they have sprouted tiny white pistols at brach unions so their (hopefully not hermies!) probably fems
we put the lanky sativa bagseed in a crapy closet we had to hash togther as she was growing out of control, now she' 3 days in 12/12 and outgrowing the new closet
If anyone has any ideas about how i can inhibit her growth but not inhibit bud growth please say!
will give another grow update when the stativa begins to bloom
and i put 2 pics of my cat's kittens , she gave birth 3 days ago, i just thought they were cute.

I see you have a Blue Widow from Dinafem eh? Well it just so happens that we got a thread going that is JUST for Dinafem's Blue Widow. There is also a friendly comp going on in there between a couple ppl and myself. It's also a place where everyone that has grown it out, can post their pix of it. A thread that's dedicated to just Blue Widow. I would appreciate it if you would throw as few pics of your Blue Widow up in there, and you also can join in, in the comp too if you want.
