yea but we cant put them into flowering for another week, and i live in a very humid climate so drying normally takes about 2 weeks, if i tell myself i wont be able to smoke it till for ages i wont be as tempted to pick a bud off before harvest
and its my first grow (apart from bagseed grown on a windowsill) so im not exspecting that much, ecspecially from cfl's , ill probly invest in a hps for the next grow if this one is successfull.
x
you still with this set-up? hope everything's going well
I'd recommend adding some smaller wattage CFLs, affordable at most large hardware retailers, with 120v socket adapters, and hanging extension cords (check out my medical grow for pics), at least for flowering. Side lighting and underlighting the canopy will dramatically decrease internodes and visibly boost plant energy levels.
Yea invest in that hps because you probably spent just as much on alllllll those cfl instead of getting hps only to get a lower yield. great grow for cfl though hope she flowers well. its gonna cause a fire, i hope not though u got kittys...
well after a long stint of not being bothered to take pics, the plant are 54 days into flowering and looking surprisingly tasty,
same plants as before except we culled all the males and one hermie so now theres 5 left; 1 dinafem blue widow in the middle , 3 pot of gold and 1 dinafem white widow.
all comments and questions welcome
cheers

superb mate for a beginner, welldone they look very healthy and happy well grown plants. you should really invest in HID lighting it woulda have give ya a bigger yield. i notice you have skinny long kholas just like i got on my second grow and i used HID so really well done mate. PLEASE do let us know how much they yield in total and maybe individually aswell. If you had used a HID light im sure you woulda get bigger fatter buds. make sure you do HID on your next grow you will never turn back. But i was also thinking i remember you saying it is a very hot and humid country you live in. if this is true using HID lights makes a lot of heat which needs to be extracted out so it might be a bit of bother keeping your grow area cool enough if you decide to use HID. Anyway im blabbering now stoned as hell on some awesome lemon skunk i just finished truly a shame i did not do a journal i really shoulda done, once again well done mate great job!!
