Second Grow, first journal.

hey guys
this is my second grow. my first grow wasnt as good as i hoped although i did learn a few valuable lessons as well as getting a few grams of bud for smoke. its a guerilla grow on a vacant rural block. i started the seeds on 6/10/07, (10/6/07 for everyone from the US, i live in Australia.) 2 varietys of unknown bagseeds, they came from good weed though.

heres the deal
8L pots
Generic potting soil with a cup of perlite for each pot.
regular all-purpose fertilizer
bloom booster for flowering
mulch
each has her (we hope) own cage

they're about 11 days from sprout now and seem to be doing fine. no nutes yet and no problems so far. lets hope all goes well.

try not to use mulch, its bad in my experiance, bad. soil perlite and riversand and pebbles. is good and easy if your growing in soil.

thanx for your opinions guys. i will probably start a few more when i get soil etc. @dangchowser i just pretty much fucked up my frst grow and learnt sbout soil and fertilizers and sun exposure and things that you need to know when growing pot. it was a bit of a disappointment but still a learning experience. any more comments welcome, will update tommorow or wednesday.

decided to go down there today anyway and the second set of leaves on each plant has almost doubled in size, both plants are now working on their 5-bladed set of leaves but one is a little more advanced than the other. pics to come in the next few days.

Hey guys,
new pics today, day 14 from sprout. had a fair bit of rain yesterday. are my plants looking average for their age or are they a bit small? no nutes yet.

I got fertilizer today. analysis is as follows:
23.0% Total N
4.0% Total P
18.0% Total K
+ trace elements
i dont have a lot of cash, i could probably afford some proper nutes but will this do for the time being?

new pics today. first pic is working on the 5th node at day 16 from sprout and the other is working on its third at day 14. also a few new sprouts and another cracked seed so there will be a few more up there soon.

Day 18, i think they're going pretty well so far. no nutes yet but i will feed at 1/2 strength within the next week. comments appreciated.
