This will be one big post to bring myself up to date, my grow is nothing fancy its just to let people know what I am doing.

I live in North Spain ex pat Brit, moved here to be with my girlfriend and its fab.

My mate posted me some bagseed from England and I few some in some dirt and added water earlier in the year.

I started to try and do a little research on here and other sites (I like this one the best) and have probably made more mistakes than done good but there you go I have learnt a lot this year.

I planted 10 seeds in little cardboard pots in April and left them in the dining room close to the window. I don't have pictures from back then but they rocketed off. I read I needed a fan on them so I put them outside as much as I dare in the daytime for the breeze.

From then on when I transplanted I just started to pick the biggest plants I could keep for the space I had and after a few months I was down to 3 plants. I hacked the smallest when they outgrew my space and then another 6 weeks or so ago when it showed male flowers on one branch only, I don't know why /shrug.

So I was left with this plant

I sweated for a few weeks and finally SHE showed sex

Then something really bad happened I got aphids 100's of them and after a Comedy of Cock Ups I got Pottassium lockout. ^%$&^%$ I killed half the plant practically and all through not flushing once a month, Jesus I felt sick but on the good side it looks very healthy again now. Most of the leaves and buds on the main cola and branches at the top died but its picked iself up after 2 or 3 weeks and is growing again.

I don't want to post a depressing pic of the plant as a whole but here is a photo of the end of one of the branches midway up the tree. Its massively Sativa as you can see so I think it may still have 6 or so weeks to go.

Well thats me to date....

Lessons learned for me
Buy some nice seeds (Warlock next year for me)
Plant earlier with mini fan
Clone and sex when possible
Flush, Flush, Flush once a month
I think as well I should change to flowering fertilizer earlier than I did which was errrm after it flowered.

At last the plant has picked itself up, I have been on hols for a week so I couldn't screw up anymore. I feel better about posting a recovering plant than the sorry sight it was 2 weeks ago. Here is the plant you can't see the top very well as I had to tie it back for a little more stealth.

Here is the Main Cola I think it is far from ready I am guessing 4-6 weeks, please I hope the weather holds out. Sorry there is no frame of reference, the bud is about as thick as my thumb.

Here is just a normal branch / bud /cola again its not very thick.

I bought a microscope today and some cloning gel also had a word with the head shop dealer about getting some Warlock for next year. New toys I love this stuff...

Any ideas on how long to go greatly appreciated, I am guessing 4-6 weeks.

Here is the top of the plant its a bit spindly but hey there's a lot of it

Here are 2 pics of the trichomes, the first 60x, the second 100x, they are starting to go cloudy I am very happy

If anyone has any idea of how long in weeks it has to go I would be interested to know.

at least 4 weeks if not more looking good.dont harvest till trics are amber,hairs drying up and leaves turn yellow.

Definitely look for amber before harvesting.

Excellent thanks guys I have tried to hold out but there are a lot of storms and its starting to freeze at night here. I know it has a way to go but I had to do something, 2 days ago the triches were all misty so I brought it inside to put it in the dark for 3 days, 2 days so far and it seems to be getting a lot more crystally. I can only hope some turn amber in this time (I believe they will).... if not it was my first and an experiment so nothing lost.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will post pics of the triches on Saturday morning before I chops it. Fingers crossed.
