Started my first Indoor grow yesterday.

Picked up 4 really nice looking clones from a Dispensary. 2 OG Kush and 2 White Russian.

Planted each into 2 gal buckets, bottom drilled for drainage. Used Ocean Forest potting soil, this stuff looks and smells really nice and should have enough nutrients for the 2-3 week veg cycle that I'm planning.

Added 2 teaspoons of "Plant Success Granular Mycorrhiza" to the soil right @ the root ball. This Bacteria is supossed to battle the bad bacteria that can cause root rot, @ $5 for a bag that looks to be able to treat about 8 - 10 new plantings I couldn't say no. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't. I figure for the $ any chance of helping my new girls, is worth it.

Bought a new 400watt switchable ballast, a Hortilux MH and Grolux HPS.

I have the light set @ about 33" from the tops of the buckets and plan to lower it 6" - 8" every 2 days untill it has reached the proper height from plants. I'm doing this becouse I have no idea what light set-up these clones where under b-4 I aquired them.
I guess I'm hardening them off. Lights are currently on a 18/6 schedule.
Didn't want to spend to much $ or put unnecessary holes in my ceiling, so I built my own PVC pipe stand for the light.

Had a high temp. of 84F and a high humidity of 40% lows of 78F and 32%. I don't really know how to raise the humidity, so if anyone can help I'd apprieciate it.

I have a small osculating fan on low just barley moving the plant tops for now.

For now the set-up is missing any type of reflective surround. But by the time We go to 12/12 I will have it wrapped in mylar. also plan on installing a nice vent fan into my attic. Any other improvments will have to wait for more $, Over $600 in one day was painful, yet somehow absolutly enjoyable, if you know what I mean.......

Day 2

Had hi/lo temps of 86F and 82F. Started the A/C brought the temps down to 83F for the high will have to wait till tomarrow morn. to get low/light out reading. I may have to find the $ soon and get a vent fan going to lower the temps.

The humidity is still LOW...between 34% and 28%. Any ideas on how to raise it????

Gave each plant 3 1/2 cups of water, they each drained about 1/2 cup out of bottom. Misted each plant w/ water. Should I do this during light on or off?

When I brought the clones home they showed a little nitrogen burn, but now it seems to be getting better.

Each plant is now turning towards light and standing tall.

Since I am writing this on day 3, we are currently getting ready to move all the furniture out of this room and the entire room will now be dedicated to the grow. I have the best wife in the world, she gave up an entire room in our house for the grow and then she went out this morning and bought me a set of shelves for the grow room!!

Day 3

Hi/lo Temps 85F/76F Hi/Lo Humidity 30%/24%

Lowered the lights to 23" above buckets.

No water today soil still quite damp.

Day 4

Hi/Lo Temps 84F/75F Hi/Lo Humidity 29%/25%

All plants got 1 1/2 cups of water today, Clone OG "A" was droopy gave extra 1/2 cups.
OG Kush clone "A" is a fat three leafer, will try to adjust watering.
Added Two CO2 generators to grow room "active yeast and sugar water"
Also switched A/C fan on to full time for added ventilation.

Day 5

Hi/Lo Temps 84F/74F Hi/Lo humidity 30%/25%

Gave all plants 1/4 turn and raised smaller plants as so to equallize plant tops.

Each plant has grown 1 1/2" except OG A"the fat three leafer, she is still the same height as she was when I brought her home.

Will post pix as soon as we BUY a camera LoL

Day 6

Hi/Lo Temps 83F/75F Hi/Lo humidity 32%/26%

No water today, Misted all plants.

Adjusting A/c to 76F and leaving the fan on 24/7 has equalized temps to average high of 83F and a low of 75F/76F.


Day 7

Hi/Lo Temps 83F/76F Hi/Lo Humidity 30%/27%

Eveyone got 2 cups of water and misted.
All plants got 1/4 turn, clockwise.
I am seeing 1-2 new leaves everyday now,I'm so Stoked!
What kind of growth is average?

Day 8 - 11

Hi's of 82f-83f lo of 76f Humidity is between 27% and 36%
Growing like Hell on wheels!!!!!
1/4 turn every nite b-4 lites out....

Day 12

Temps and Humidity are in the same ranges
added second set of CO2 generators " simple yeast and sugar water" Will be keeping all 4 running 24/7 alternately refreshing every 2 weeks with new yeast and sugar water. Does that make sense?

Day 13

No changes, just growing.

Day 14

1st Fertilizer given to plants, Supernatural Gro-Terra @ 1 teaspoon per gallon, watered till just started to show on tray. OG A being a runt anly got a 2/3 strength solution, I don't belive she has used up the original Nutrients in the soil mix and didn't want to shock her, Although the last 4-5 days she has really started to perk up, new shoots and leaves.

I believe I was overwatering since day 1, today was 1st water in 4 days, and I bought a moisture meter, So I don't repeat this mistake...

All other plants are growing like (excuse the PUN) WEEDS!!!!! I'm so FREAK"N happy...

Day 15

All normal.

DAY 16

All normal, except, Found Fungus Gnats 4-5. Picked up some "Azatrol" @ local Hydro store. Mixed @ a ratio of 1 1/2 teaspoons per gallon, and misted all soil areas. Guy @ store assured me it is organic and will flush away W/ final flush.

DAY 17

All Normal. Found another Fungus gnat, misted soil again. Raised light today. The 3 healthy plants are now showing 7 point leaves!! The little "runt" plant "OGA" is now really picking up the pace, but she's really behind...

DAY 18

All normal

DAY 19

All normal. Changed 2 of the 4 co2 generators today.

DAY 20

All Normal.
Sealed Bedroom door for light. Cut 2" strips of denim "Jeans" doubled it over and thumbtacked to inside of door frame, used a towel @ bottom of door. 100% of light blocked, Going into 12/12 phase tomarrow!!!

DAY 21

Temps and Humidity normal.

Changed timer to 12/12. Changed bulb to HPS. Watered w/ Bud Blaster fertilizer "by Supernatural" @ a 1/4 teaspoon per gallon ratio. Used bud blaster to set bud sites. Won't use again till last 2 weeks. Meanwhile will use Bloom Terra "by Supernatural" while budding.

Plants are literaly growing inches a day. Dark green leaves, Several 7 point leaves. Haven't seen a fungus gnat in 2 days. I'm FREAK'N happy!!!

Still waiting on camera, Sorry no pix yet.

did you put your clones under a dome right away? i dont remember reading

Clones were already rooted. Just planted them straight away into dirt. I did keep the light far away, and slowly lowered it. I didn't know what lighting they were under b-4 I got them.
