Clone's 5 blue dream & 1 bubba Kush med grow 215

HELLO AGAIN NEW UP DATE:
So i put my clone in to my bubbleponics system last Monday
(1-18-10).they seem to be in shock im not sure yet.They just look a little sad.also im having a really hard time keeping the Ph levels at 5.5-6.5,after i bring the PH levels where i want them, with in 6-8hours the have jumped up to 8+.its kinda freaking me out if anyone know of anything i can do to help this please post it below im using Ph downer to bring it down.I was thinking about changing all the water in the tub and starting over,before things get out of hand. or is that not a good thing?
the other thing im having a hard time with is keeping the drip system going it seems to stop and drip as well.
i still have the lights on 24/0 i want to witch them over to 18/6 but i was think that it would be better to keep them to help the plants but then again i thinking maybe it would be best to give the plants a rest.

one more thing is my poor little ladys broke her leg and im trying to save it if anyone know of thing i can do to help her please please let me know.i post a pic of her so you can see what she looks like,along with my other ladys

what your looking for is a "buffer"

A buffer solution is an aqueous solution consisting of a mixture of a weak acid and its conjugate base or a weak base and its conjugate acid. It has the property that the pH of the solution changes very little when a small amount of strong acid or base is added to it. Buffer solutions are used as a means of keeping pH at a nearly constant value in a wide variety of chemical applications. Many life forms thrive only in a relatively small pH range; an example of a buffer solution is blood.

Buffer solutions are used to maintain a certain level on the pH scale.

Useful buffer mixtures

Components pH range
HCl, Sodium citrate 1 - 5
Citric acid, Sodium citrate 2.5 - 5.6
Acetic acid, Sodium acetate 3.7 - 5.6
K2HPO4, KH2PO4 5.8 - 8 [4]
Na2HPO4, NaH2PO4 6 - 7.5 [5]
Borax, Sodium hydroxide 9.2 - 11

I use Baking soda
it will raise your ph over the course of an hour so add a little (just a little like 1/4 tsp maybe less work it out for your tote size )
let it go up in ph for an hour or so then use ph down to bring it where you want it and it should be buffered ( not change much)

the key is not to add so much baking soda that the ph wont come back down when you ph down it but just enough to make it stable when you drop it"-Bauks

well well i found out how to grow great clones from here on out.
now i know why my clone were not growing roots.
when i first got them i should have not give them food,i should have been giving them water and putting them on a heating pad.
What i have learned about clones and how to take care of them is to let the cubes dry out then water them, mist them 2-3 times a day with PH balanced water and seaweed extract.Put a heat pad under the humidity-dome.(i don't have a heat pad but i do have a rice sack that you warm up in the microwave it holds heat for a few hours) The roots love the warmth,but not to hot about 75-80.I have my CFL about 3-5" from the clones on 18/6. I also will be using the plant success by Plant Revolution on my clones from now on. it works so well i couldnt believe it.(http://www.humboldtwholesale.com/Plant_Success)Ps when you are getting your clone to root they will look like they are dying but don't worry.

so last night i came home after work and check on my clone and to water them.I always have a good look around the humidity-dome to make sure no mold is growing or anything weird is going on.As i picked up my bubba kush plant i look on the bottom of the rookwool and saw a little root coming out.OMG I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT . then this morning i check my plants again and on the bubba kush i found three more roots coming out of the rookwool.
so i should be able to put my clones back in to my system in 2weeks or so.

SO i talk about a little seed a friend gave me,in a few post before.here is a little side note about how its doing.i planted it in a 5gal bucket about a month ago and have been just giving it water,and seaweed extract.

ok so i i dont know what went wrong,but out of the six clones i has only one lives .i took the five blue dream clone i had and planted them out at a friends house,just to see if maybe they will grow out there.well they have not died yet so who knows. the one buba kush clone i have left is growing well now roots are coming out all the side of the rookwool.i will be making a small DWC system to put it in to.then i make a little one bloom box and bub the plant out. i did order some seeds from nirvana.five AK-48 fem and 10 bag seeds of blue mystic.I got the seeds in 8 days,get place to order seeds.im going to make a new grow journal.

try to take smaller clones man.. like 3-4 inchs only.. the bigger the longer it takes to root usually and sometimes harder.. but i find the smaller the clone.. like weaker the branch they root quicker for some reason. but latly i have had temp problems an had same problem up until now
