FIRST GROW! help me out TAKE A LOOK!!!

hey this is my 1st grow. i have been doing alot of homework and finally got my own place. pictures will be on tomorrow check back to see what i got going and any pointers. im going to be growin in a closet apx 4.5 by 9'. i have a 175 watt light , a 400 watt coming soon. it will be 3 soil grows and 1 hydro grow out of the hydro farm single bucket system. i have an 8 '' exhaust fan and a nice oscollating fan. i have a few white widow seeds germinating right now ... should be ready tomorrow to go into rockwool really soon. ya dig... check back for pix tomorrow

hey guys sorry so late today... heres the set up tho... also i have a fan in there but you cant see it ... im getting ready to install ventillation thursday .. 180 cfm fan.. should be ok dont you think ... the seeds are almost ready for it.. id say tomorrow for sure. so basically, when i put them in there , i should just water with no nutes for the first 2 weeks correct? do you think i should power up the big light or just use the little ones? when i get ready to start nutes i have a few questions as far as mixing... let me know what yall think bout the set up

I have the same light hood hoc, but with a 125W CFL in it. You might want to get better lights once they sprout! Get a 125W blue for the hood, and get 2 85W to put around.

i have a question... i germinated a few seeds ... put them in the rockwool that i had soaked in water ph at 6 now they are in the soil. should i leave the lights on or off at this point?

I usually turn on like one CFL when I put mine in the soil that way you have a little light for them when they pop up but not too much

they are all off right now ..they were barely germinated the white root only came out about a half an inch so if it doesnt sprout i have 5 more germinating for a longer period of time ... you think its gonna be straight? o ya and not to mention the towel i was germinating them in dried out last night ... eh i dunno

1. keep the light ON.. at least 18-20 hours
2. keep the cube moist... dont let the soil get soggy....
3. in about 3-5 days.. after you have 2 nodes... you need to water the entire 3-5 galloon container with 1/2 gallon of water.. adn then dont water again for at least 3-7 days...

get another 43 watt cfl and get it close to the seeds... like 4-5 inches.. after day 7-10, keep the light 1 inch from your foilage at all times.. each plant should have 3 - 43 watt cfls at a distance of 1 inch or less... you will need to adjust the lights daily...

have a fan running in the room.. it does not need to be pointed at your plants. just blowing in the room.. the plants should be moving a bit from the breeze..
