Thread: First grow ak47 from marijuanaseeds.com 1000 watt

So this is my first grow. I have 7 ak47 seeds and 8 white rhino seeds. They all have germinated and have started sprouting. I started the white rhino first then 5 days later my ak47 came in the mail and I started germinating immediatly. I am veging them under flourescent lights 1 cool and 1 warm white bulb 4 feet long. I have a closet space of 7 by 4. I've divided it into two my vegetative room is 3 by 4 and my flowering room is 4 by 4. My plants are 1 week in and I plan on keepin them in here untill there 18-24 inches high or 4-5 weeks after that I will put them in my flowering room for roughly 7-8 weeks. I have the room completed seperated by black plastic. I'm using water with a ph level of 6.2. (everyone has there own number) in my flowering room I will use 1 1000 watt hps with a vent leading under the house. Im a little worried about thermal detection though when I start my flowering room. I've heard some stories but alot people say don't even worry about it. I'm thinking bout maybe running a small air conditioner to the light fixture orninto the room somwhere. Any thoughts? For smell when I start the flowering stage I'm going in install a carbon filter and fan. Rite now my first 8 rhinochabe sprouted up to 3-4 inches and my other ak47 have just gone in so I was wondering is havnt the flourescent 2 inches about my white rhinos is enough light for my ak47 which are 5-6 inches from my flourescent bulbs 40 watt each. I have some pics but these are from the beginings when only have my vegetative room built and my white rhinos just barely sprouted. I will post pictures later

I have 9 aks right now 3 weeks plus into flowering. Your grow seems very similar to mine I encourage you to check out my journal. Definitely get a carbon filter during flowering the aks smell like 1000 blunts beings smoked by cow shit. The good thing is with the carbon filter you can control it. Make sure its has minimal sound though because mines sounds like a sonic jet taking off. What else. Oh yeah throw a book under the Rhinos so they can get closer to the light cause 6 inches will cause stretching. Ummm the thermal detector idk what to say about that. Just keep the light as far away from the window as possible. Since you are in a closet you should be fine. Maybe get some wood for the windows if your scared idk. I think its illegal though but im not 100% dont quote me on that. Anything else just ask and definitely check out my journal it should be some help to you.
