Here is an update....

What up bro. I haven't read the thread yet... but have two tips about RIU.

1. Put a link to your journal in your signature... so we can all find it. The better the link descriptin... the more people will follow it.

2. To post youtube videos you do this:

Just take out the spaces I added in youtube.

All that junk in the middle being the last part of the url for each video... like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8aaAeMtZVKk .... use only the stuff after the =.

You might not need to raise the lights at all. To be safe raise them as high as you can till the water droplets dry up. The danger is the light reflecting in the water droplets and burning the leaves. I've never had that problem, and I never had to raise my lights. But then again... they were nice and cool so that might have had to do with it.

I think jazz is good. There is actually a CD out there for plants.. I think it's called Sonic Bloom. I'm not really sure.

But yeah... they like music.

The little plants look good. Sounds like overwatering to me too. They should be fine in a couple days.

thanks.....i am still trying to get at least one clone from a friend of mine in jersey who grows some really dank nuggets, i know the strain is in the kush family....he wont give me any clones at the moment because he says he owes another guy and wants to pay him back first, the other guy has a bigger garden than my friend and doesnt need any more trees when compared to me who is starting from scratch.....oh well.....i guess im going to continue on with these seedlings.....i told my friend about the DWC that im planning and the results of your first grow with the screen, he told me not to do it and that soil is the way to go....apparently he tried a setup where the roots arent suspended in water, but have a pipe that mists water up on to them from below....these guys that i know who grow only know what they have learned in there own short experiences....i'ld rather get my info from professionals on here who see cannabis as a medicine rather than some shit to bag up and sell on the streets....this is the best forum....thanks jig

the leaves are really starting to sprout out....a few plants are doing better than the others....hopefully a majority of them are females but i shall care for all of them until i find out.....the soil really dried out in the past day and a half, i added some more water to the tray they are sitting in, they soak up from beneath....the leaves perked up in about 30 minutes after that.....today i started my foliage spray, dutch masters liquid light and gold penetrator....i mixed 16 ounces of h20 with 2tbsp of each and sprayed it on very generously, im gonna finish up the rest of what i mixed later tonight....i doused a few houseplants in it too....they are really liking the hps light, much better growth than the cfls that they were previously under....hopefully i can cut some clones by christmas.....here are some pics before the light came on...peace

Hey Raul, Welcome to RIU bru. Firstly, all the best for the grow!!!

I think your light is just fine. Seedlings can be hardier than we think, and I am an example of that. I have taken seedling to hell and back, and they still end up growing, so it's all gonna work out fine.

Comments, the pots with more than one plant, change that. Try and get them all in seperate pots if possible. I have one just now, but it is twins that came from one seed so I am leaving them. But I would only add two plants in the same pot much later on in life (and it has to be a big pot.) The longer you leave them, the more of a mare it will be to seperate (especially if you are left with - one of the plants, male and one of them, female - would be tricky.)
