Same plant as curry? Neem oil comes from the neem tree, curry is a mixture of spices. Either way its great stuff but more of a preventative maintenance, i dont think it will help to much once your invested, especially with spider mites, since they are almost impossible to get rid of once you are infested.

you're right and you're wrong, I guess they call curry neem in india because it looks just like leaves from a neem tree, my bad. Also curry isn't a mix of spices, it's a single spice in leaf form. It's worth trying with an established infestation. I used it for 3 weeks, once a week for a pretty bad infestation. I saw no sign of them for like 2 months until yesterday. so, it's definitely worth using in my opinion, I just should have continued with the maintenance spraying.

we must be talking about different curry, the 1 im talking about is the spicey powder used in indian dishes, it mainly consists of turmeric which is from the ginger family and then a large list of other spices.

Hey thanks for the good info. im going to go ahead and try neem when i get back from vacation and ill let you know the results of usage after infestation has already started. peace

Day 40 of flowering. I've had some issues with my plants over the past couple weeks. I had a friend look after my grow while I was gone for 10 days, and it turned out that he wasn't very trustworthy. He barely watered them, ignored my clones (they died) and pinched buds off of my plants. I'm so freaking pissed. It's my fault, I know I know. I'm still new at this and have learned that I can't go away at all while I'm growing. aside from some crispy fan leaves, the buds look good. My camera broke so no pics at the moment, but I will put some up when I get the chance.
