Got my first grow started back on 11/17. It's just some bagseed from various pickups of middies.

Right now I only have 4x27 watt CFLs due to me being unable to cool my box very well. But until then, I'm stuck at either less light or 95+ temps


I got a fan I put in there from target, and the box itself is a cabinet from home depot that was on sale.

Got lights on 18 hrs a day and I water every 2 days.

Currently on Day 7.

kool man!! just try to keep the light as close to the plant as you can, if your temps arnt to high.

DAY 16

Now have a total of 5x26w CFLs @ 6500K and 1x13w CFL @ 2700K.

Put an exhaust fan in there as well to keep the temps low. Didn't think a 12v CPU fan would help much but it really does.

Got rid of the ghetto wiring for the lights and found the 120v to light socket adapters.


All my plants but one died cause I was dumb and thought giving them a tiny bit of fertilizer a few days ago would be beneficial.

Is Miracle Gro All Purpose Plant food from concentrate no good? It's 12-4-8 so I figured it'd be good for vegging. My town seems to have no fox farm or any of that.

Also, I can't be sure but are those preflowers at the first node?
