Day 10, DWC Set up.

Covered walls to the best of my ability with mylar roughly 6 feet tall. The best looking plant has some burning on the lower leaves but ppm is only 340. Any Input would be nice on that.

2 400w's, HPS Hortilux bulbs.

Running the lucas formula 0-8-16 Floramicro, Florabloom, and i add diamond nectar as well.

Off temp 68
On temp 79




You can see some burning and a bit of wilting.

750 ppm, going to leave it around there for now. Prolly going to cap it at 1350 for flowering.

Mutant is still lagging behind with the runt. They should pull through.:bigjoint: Just got the 2nd 400w in there, as of last night the plants only had 400w's. From what I understand they don't even use that much so I think we should be good.

I've been doing some reading and it looks like i might have a magnesium deficiency, the faq says to add either epsom salts or dolomite lime.

Any input will get you +rep for helping out.:peace:

have 3 white russians at day 42 of flower... the strain looks gorgeous and my next grow will be all White russians...:leaf::sleep: wish you all the best..

Having problems with my comp, post pics soon. Changed out res and switched to 12/12 today. About 27 inches now.

Thanks for showing up dude. Hopefully these plants end up like the afghan kush did, but not in soil :P Any input on hydro vs. soil would be appreciated aswel.

well i think ur plants are looking good man...

dwc system hydro ... Just make sure those water temps dont go over 72 man... this starts growing on ur roots after that.. then hydrogen peroxide will be your best friend... im sure there are alot of products now for these things... i havent messed with it in a few years... but when i did it i got root rot like a motherfucker... so make sure you read up on temps int he rez...

other than that .. the ph is lower..5.5.... change the rez every week.. bam!.. all there is to that my friend.

Day 3 Flowering 12/7/09

Yeah, ive done this once before with gigabud and local kush seeds(both went purple) in dwc with GH nutes 20gal res. It;s not hard once you've dialed your environment.

Any comments on the lucas forumla with GH nutes? I'm running 1200ppm at the moment. Day 3 flowering.

I think its looking good.. the roots look fantastic. 1200 ppm just seems really high to me.. but i know that in hydro you can... It just seems excessive... i cant wait to see the results man.. good luck!

Hey franco, question for you. Its getting really cold here and the off temps for the grow room is around 52.8 steady, doesnt go any lower. There is really nothing i can do to boost the temps. The grow room is actually concrete, i put a pair of jeans under the tub to try and get it off the cold ground. Water temps are fine really, its just the actual room temp.

So i just found out the front plant is male. So im going to have to get him out of there asap.

the thing is that the front 2 plant's roots are so entangled that removing the male is going to take the mutant plant with it. It hasnt shown sex yet and its day 6 or 7 flowering and is also small and way behind. So im not to upset about losing it, if anything it will free up much needed space for the 3 females.

No real substantial budding on the females yet, but verry obvious hairs coming out everywhere.

yeah man, more people the better. I feel like im doing a bad job since my last journal had like 8 or 9 different people posting every day. Once i start posting bud porn the people will roll it.

lol its sad how many people become members just for the pics... i like ur dwc set up... im doing flood and drain right now... ours dont look like urs tho... did u get em from seriuos seeds? we can swap pics if u want.. i got one mother of it in dirt and clones in the cloner... ur not doing a bad job by the way.. at least ur tryin... im using the hard water micro bloom lucas formula and so far my plants look ten times better since i switched...
