Default Blueberry, Coco, Smart pots test
I just planted these clones last night. I've heard really good things about these fabric pots and thought I'd give them a try. It totally makes sense, and I expect them to outperform the plastic containers. But will they? I guess we'll soon see.
I'll report my findings and answer any questions.
I'm not affiliated with this company in any way. I just see a great idea and want to put it to the test.

Blueberry clones in Coco in the Smart Pot.

From Smartpots.com:

By taking advantage of the benefits of traditional plastic gardening containers while eliminating the shortcomings, Smart Pots truly live up to their name! These soft growing containers allow more air to reach the growing medium and roots, improving drainage and keeping the root system from overheating on hot days. Plant roots also benefit from their natural tendency to grow into soft surfaces like the Smart Pot, becoming thick and healthy instead of circling the inside of the pot and becoming root-bound. These pots are aeration containers allowing the air to prune the plant root structure. Simply remove the containers before transplanting. These pots will establish the plants quicker after transplanting.

They along with a few others will be going into this space. this area will be cleared and a 600 hps will be installed.

Ok, first update. these have been in the pots for 1 week. The plants in the smart pots received their first feeding tonight. The coco was ready for some moisture. The coco in the plastic is still very wet on the top. The clones that are in the smart pots are a little bigger as well. As I expected, the smart pot dries out much faster, so they'll need to be watered more often, at least until there is more consumption than evaporation.
