Nirvana Bubblelicious GROW

First, thanks a lot for stopping by :)
This journal is totally open to all so feel free to comment away!

I have been inspired to write more of a detailed grow journal this time around from some good new friends I have made on RIU since I have joined only a couple months ago. My experience here has been just as expected, much help, much hazing, and much much much chronic.
Thanks to all who have helped out so far.

I grew up in a city where weed is as cheap as dirt, and looks like it too. Growing my own is something I love to do from start to finish. Being able harvest a nice crystally nug is something we all love to do, and I think sometimes it goes beyond that when we see how well our girls are growing at times.

Anyways, if you are still around, then on with the show! I am growing some bubblelicious from Nirvana Seed Bank, already moved some them into the flower 'room' so there is much catching up to do. Stay tuned for more posts catching us all up, including myself!

Now for the setup:

Grow Medium and Containers

  • Rockwool and Hydroton Mediums with Baskets
  • Veg Room has Top Feed Drip Tray with resevoir catch below
  • Flower Room Has Top Feed Drip DWC Bubbler System (pics)

Here are the plants at 2 1/2 Weeks into grow. 3 plants are around this age, but then you have one that is only 2 weeks exactly, another at 1 1/2, and the last at only 1 week.

Here are a few pics of one plant being transplanted from start to finish:

I am using 2/3 strength nutrient solution at this point and going off of Botanicares Pure Blend Pro Feed Chart.

Pure Blend Pro Veg
Liquid Karma
Cal-Mag

Heres to happy growing :)

Moving time for 4 out of 6 plants. The flower room is optimized for 4 plants only, so we will see how many are male and female. Once I find which ones are male, remove em and move the last two plants left in the veg room if needed in a couple weeks so I can get the full 4 plants at harvest time.

OK! So I hope everyone has been doing well, I have some pictures of the move. This took place last weekend..I will try to take some pics tonight of their progress since their move. No signs of flowering yet.

Here are all the plants right before the move, got some light damage on pic 7:

This plant is the biggest of the 4 that are being transplanted. Here are a couple pics of her:

Staked in new drips and ready to go:

2 Plants left in Veg Room, one has a huge internode due to it sprouting so far behind the others and the overcrowding:

Here they are 1 week later, which would be about 15 mins ago... The last 4 pics are each of the individual main colas on each of the 4 plants.

Here are a couple pics of what some lower leaves look like on the plants. Mainly fan leaves, im inexperienced, but my first choice is Magnesium defficiency based upon my readings? I am posting this though because i am not confident in my own diagnoses. I do use RO Water and have been using Cal-Mag, but not at the full dose recommended so I will bump that to begin with.

Here are the pics, any help is great!

Fred, I'm a fan. And guess what bro? I've grown this strain before. I did 5 seeds and got three females. They all yielded insane amounts, with or without lollipop LOL. This is the largest yielding strain I have ever grown. My three Bubblelicious females (and their many clones) looked identical but smelled and tasted quite different. One was very sweet, i guess it was the one that tasted most like bubblegum but it was my least favorite. Another smelled and tasted very cheesey like cheetos. But the best one smelled like stinky dog shit. Look out for the dog poo pheno, that is the keeper LOL. One of my buddies grew out the same beans and he got some very colorful ones... bright pink and purple buds. Mine were all green. They all have a chewing gum kind of aftertaste which is nice but there's a whole range of other flavors. Anyway I hope you don't mind if I attach a pic or two. I could of posted ones like this in that lollipopping thread to compete with Uncle Ben all day.

Hell yeah pics totally welcome! Damn man that has me very excited to hear about your previous grow with this strain. I did grow just 1 a few grows ago, and it was the only female of the other plants, but i had a power strip failure on the vent fan for the light and in 90 mins my plant was fried :( It was just starting to bud and was a damn beast that grew like nobody's business, so I am very much excited about the large yields you speak of :)

I will be looking out for the dog shit pheno for sure :P

I think with the last two vegging plants, I will clone them, four from each, before flowering them. One of them does not seem like it will be suitable to get that much bud from anyways due to its late sprouting, but we will see. I am thinking ill clone 4 each, then move the 2 main plants to flower room and hope at least 1 is female! That will take place once I find the males in the flower room and pull em though. Ill keep updates on the cloning too, should start that next week I hope!

Picked up some aquashield from my local store today along with larger bottles of sweet and cal-mag.

I plan on using this only in the RO resevoir, but added it to both veg and plant grow resevoirs to get things going.

I suppose one test will be to see if the small "slime" or algae that exists on the feed tube for the water pump in the RO resevoir goes away or not? It is still a bit warm where I live and although my resevoirs are light tight, I see to still get a bit of growth and I am guessing its due to how warm the water gets....will post update on whether or not the 'slime' goes away.

Anyone had experiece with this product yet? Know if Dutch Master Zone performs the same function?
