Barney's Farm BONANZA!

Well, I thought i'd kick off my official 3rd grow journal here this evening. Since growing and smoking Barney's Farm 'Blue Cheese' and simply falling in love with it, I kinda 'sold the farm' with my seed-money budget and went all-out with BF seeds, purchasing a variety of their feminized seeds with the intention of having at least one of their plants in my next few grows.

This grow will be an almost 100% BF grow consisting of:

2x BF Sweet Tooth (fem)
2x BF Red Cherry Berry (fem)
2x Nirvana's 'Bubblicious' (reg)

The bubblicious seeds are left over from my first grow in which all 3 of the Bubs were male plants, so I'm hoping to have at least 1 female from the 2 this round. If both of these are males, I may try to get some free replacement seeds if I can.

Here's the low-dow dirty details on this grow:

Medium: soil/soil-less (Premiere Pro-mix HP) with about 20% homemade compost.

Nutes: AN Iguana grow & AN Iguana bloom
AN Nirvana
Good ol molasses

Light: 400w MH (veg) 400w HPS conv. bulb (flower)

Space: Grow tent in basement (96"x48"x78")

So far... germinated seeds ~2 days - all seeds cracked - planted all seeds tap-root down just below the soil surface into soaked (but not sopping) starter seed pucks, placed in sealed plastic starter dome with built-in heating pad bottom, and placed flourescent lamp over the dome as close as possible.

I tend to sometime post randomly with thoughts and notes (my kind of 'journal style') for my personal reference as well as to hopefully give some ideas and/or tips to viewers and to remind me down the road some of the specifics of what I did that worked well.

I wasn't as organized as I should have been - my new tent isn't quite ready yet and it got way too hot in there. Also, the soil I prepared was kinda sour I discovered afterwards - my home-made compost was in a 'strong' stage of decomposition and was too much for the little guys....

On the bright-side, I've made sure to start my next grow right and start them in a warmer room (back in the bath-tub again! lol..) until they get through the veg stage, by then I hope to have my tent ready to go with the proper ventilation etc....

So far I've had excellent luck with Barney's Farm stuff in the past. Currently growing some BF LSD (just started about a week ago) and I've got a pack of BF Amnesia Lemon seeds waiting in reserve (along with a bunch of other stuff). I'll definitely be watching this one!! (I would "subscribe" but I have absolutely NO freakin' idea how subscribe to a thread!!!!)
