Hey Guys it's been a while since I've been on but after my dad found my plants and throwing them away

[and whats fucked is he smokes and also tried growing in there place once haha damn dad] (while living with my grandpeeps) now i live on my own and decided to retry and also lucky me i got some headband seeds from a friend

but this is also my second journal i didn't get to finish the other one for that reason but I get to start a newer better journal and i just planted my seeds yesterday so they haven't sprouted yet I have one other seed with it another great seed just in my random cronic seed bag

ALSO COMMENTS ARE WELCOME

I'll take some pictures when they start to bloom and I'll keep going from there

check out my pics got a few up of the first and second day they are looking really good and going to be really potent (*knock on wood*)

I was so happy when i found the seed (i just really really hope it's not a male) if so i've got some other random seeds (not as good though) but i hope it's a female

You have 40 + 42 + 23 = 105 watts = 6825 lumens.

How much light is needed for growing?
Depends on the size of plant you are trying to grow. I'll try to answer this "in general" instead of being specific to one size plant. Light seen and perceived with the human eye is measured in Lumens. There is an ideal amount of lumens for growing and a minimum amount of required lumens. The very minimum amount of light required for smaller sized plants grown is around 3000 lumens per square foot. Let me put emphasis on "minimum amount" of light. However, that's not 100% exactly accurate, since although you may have a 10,000 lumen light, the amount of light that reaches the plant varies with the distance between the light and plants, and the reflectivity of the grow area. The ideal amount is somewhere around 7000-10,000 lumens per square foot for average sized plants. As long as the plants do not show burn, as much light can be used as you want to use.

So you have enough lumens for 2 sq ft of plant.

You should put those bulbs more than one inch and less than two inches close.

hey guys here is day 9 from sprout my leaves are kinda drooping though whats up with that? i don't water it until it's dry at least an inch i water it til it comes out the bottom i have the lights about an inch or 2 not more then 3 inches away but here they are there still looking really good

input would be awesome
