Thumbs up Afghan Kush Fem First Grow

Here are some pics of my first grow. 3 plants of Afghan Kush Feminised. Running 400w MH/veg and 400w HPS/flower. FF Ocean Forest with mex bat guano mixed in. RO water is PH'ed at 6.8 with Oakton PH11 with Fox Farm nutes. Running lights at 20hrs on and 4hrs off right now. Have CO2 waiting in the wings. My ladies are 15 days old right now. I will try to update as I go! I am so excited with the way thing are going that I ordered 10 Greenhouse seeds Super Lemon Haze (2008 cannacup winner) last night.

Thanks for looking and feel free to give constructive and good comments. Learning all the way!

Default when do i start the flowering?

hello there i just started afghan kush im a first time grower , i also have a couple of lowryders #2 going they are coming along great no bugs no sick ones . no only one quistion when shuold i start the flowering of the afhgan kush she is only 10 days old? thanks for any help

You won't want to start any flowering until your plants show signs of initial calyx development in the nodes area and there are signs of pre flowering. That is when you should be able to tell the sex of your plants, then wait a week. If you flower too early you might get stress related sex problem like Hermaphrodites (male and female). I would suggest getting a book on growing. Well worth the $15-$20 for a piece of mind. Check out Amazon or one of the sponsors of RIU.

Update:
Confirmed three ladies

Changed over my nutes and upped my ppm to 1200 and plants look great. Took my PH down to 6.2 from what I have been reading. Hope I am going the right direction?

Space no problem! 10 x 10 grow room. Starting with only one corner of room to get the basics down to minimize FU'ps. First grow limited time with Auto's. Plus I'm F~#* excited for maybe a Christmas present for myself (LOL) kind of selfish, all my hard work, and don't forget the girls work too! Just started germination of 10 Super Lemon Haze Fem's from Green House Seeds tonight. Keep them budding and don't need to waste time with alot of vegging!
