This summer my thumb finally turned green . I tried to grow for the first time last summer and the damn stoner deer that wander through our property ate em all late enough into the season to not try again. This summer I finally managed to grow a few decent plants outdooors that grew to around 4 1/2-5 feet tall in pots. I had to grow in pots outside for 2 reasons. 1) Growing inside was not an option and 2) the ground around here turns to hard clay not too far down when you dig...bummer. One ended up being a male so I moved him outta range...git ye gone playah! The other two were ladies (or at least they looked like females, I have a real hard time distinguishing between females and hermies ). Won't be a spectacularily large yield but I grew them au naturale (just pots and soil, and occasional dash of growth food in the water) and I wasn't expecting much so I am happy as it is. Harvested them today and as long as I don't screw up the curing process I will be satisfied with my first little grow experience.
