Default 126W LED Grow from Seed (SLH)
Ok, I recently purchased an LED (Light Emitting Diode) grow light after following the results of an LED proponent who was posting them here in the forum, and decided (after watching so much drama on that thread) that I would like to do an independent study of my own and grow some Super Lemon Haze from seed under these lights to really see how it goes from start to finish.

I am usually very lazy when it comes to taking pictures, but in this case I will be doing my best to take a daily photo of each plant's progress, and posting those photos here.

On October 15th two SLH seeds were germinated using the wet paper towel method and placed in cups of soil (fox farm). the next day they had pushed their way out of the soil and the first picture included here was taken on October 18th, two days later.

This is not a comparison grow and in no way is my purpose to demonstrate that one thing is better than another thing or how well one thing works compared to another when all other factors are equal. This is simply a photo journal, of sorts, of two happy Super Lemon Haze plants and how they grow from day to day under this particular LED grow light...

Thanks T, I'm looking forward to having a nice, clean, drama free grow. lots of knowledge shared and hopefully I will learn a lot of lessons as I go.

Lesson one: take pictures using full spectrum light. camera still sees things the same even though my eyes have adjusted. And then it takes a minute for it to adjust back... anyone know if this will have a negative effect on my eyesight? I'm willing to be the guinea pig...

T: what LED are you trying out?

Pictures from tonight. held up a cfl to take a picture with fuller spectrum light, it was quick and simple and these pictures are much easier on the eyes...

as you can see, all is well in SLH seed land.
more tomorrow...

Advanced Nutrients organic products (not the full line-up), and I also want to give the Wet Betty foliar spray a try, as well a mychorrizal amendment.

How high is the light? During the seedling stage, I'd keep it around 6-8", until it starts to grow a couple sets of leaves. Then you can adjust it up more if you desire more stretch
