Default 21st Oct Pics

Here are the pictures from last night. It looks like I will be traveling to SoHum this week for at least four days; I will try to have a friend come over and take a few pictures while I'm gone but tis the season and all... The light is 8" from the tops of the plants right now, and I will continue to keep it in that range...

anyway, I'm off! I'll post again when I return, thanks all...

Back from the Redwoods. What a stressful and successful trip... here are the shots from the 22nd, the night after I left. Unfortunately no one was able to photo-document the plants during that time (sorry) but at least the young'ns survived me being away...

...and from tonight. Six days later but I'm sure you can fill in the blanks.

One of SLH1's roots had found its way out the bottom of the cup so I had to pinch it back and I'm waiting to see how much it will stress the plant. Otherwise all was under control when I came back.
So we are at two weeks (tomorrow) since these two ladies pushed up out of the soil...

I just bought my first led 90w ufo and hope to have it started in about a week. I have used cfl and 400w hps so I am so excited to start with a new source. i am going to follow your experiment here! looks good so far. I am curious the difference in the end result but I am in desperate need for a cooler environment for my babies...i have spent more time, effort, and money trying to resolve the heat issue in my closet grow so i am super excited.

Man you sound excited for sure. Just make sure you keep the UFO pretty close to the plants to get the maximum effect. You won't burn em. This is a buddy's grow.
(Hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting this here, I'm new.)

I am really interested in LEDs and I think in 5 years they will pretty much replace all growlights. But, I am still not sure whether I want to give em a try yet. Seems like every year they get better and cheaper. I guess if you have crazy good results you will convince me =) Mikedigital, does your friend notice smaller buds from his LEDs? From what I've seen, LEDs are great for vegging but are lackluster at flowering.

Like some other posts have stated, They will be smaller, but not small. It doesn't sound like an endorsement but if you keep the lights tight you can pull off some nice buds... I've smoked them, matter of fact I'm still smoking them, no complaints here!

Really lookin' forward to your progress Fujin...

I haven't see but one complete Grow Journal using LED lighting.
