So its finally time for me to start a grow journal. Hopefully I can attract some knowledgeable people too.

Light:
400w MH with Extrasun air cooled hood
Yes I know that HPS is for flowering but I've heard that if you use MH for flower that there will be increased resin production. I'm going for quality not quantity.

Fans:
10" Oscillating Fan
4" High Velocity Fan
6" Inline fan 185cfm (i think...)

Nutrients:
Fox Farm Grow Big
Fox Farm Big Bloom
Fox Farm Tiger Bloom
Fox Farm Cha Ching
Fox Farm Beastie Buds
Fox Farm Open Sesame
Humboldt County's Own Gravity
Humboldt County's Own Purple Maxx
Nutriplus Black (Fulvic Acid) - vice versa?
Nutriplus Gold (Humic acid)
SuperThrive
Earth Juice pH up and down

For a feeding schedule I follow the fox farm hydro schedule on their website. It has worked great so far! I just got the Purple Maxx, Gravity, Fulvic Acid and Humic acid today. I used weak strength purple maxx for a foliar feed today. I'm waiting until I move to the next week of flowering to start gravity. Fulvic acid and humic I added today at weak strength

also, I cut back the strength of my nutrients today by 1/3 due to the purple maxx as directed on the bottle....anyone else do this?

wayyy open to suggestions on what I should I know fox farms is not high quality but this is my semi first grow.

Setup:
3 Gallon Hempy Buckets
Watered every other day with nutes no water in between...i dont like the idea of heavy feed then no nutes...
100% perlite
I am keeping the plants in a 3 x 3 area I have more space in the tent but I know the light willl not cover enough space for more.

Plants:
4 G13s
1 Pineapple Romulan
1 Purple Urkle
These are about 4.5 weeks into flowering!

Fresh Plants:
10 DJ Short Blueberry
1 bagseed Hindu/Skunk #1

Let me know what you think! Would love any input/feedback

Question for anyone who uses purple maxx out there. So I sprayed yesterday using low strength. I also fed yesterday with 1/3 reduced nutes. My question is should I spray everyday or 2 times a week? The next time I feed will be tomorrow should I still do 1/3 reduced nutes even if I wait until the feeding after that to spray with purple maxx?

What's up man, nice grow look good keep up the good work i'm Subd..

How do you like your fox farm nutes?, are they easy to use? have you used them in a previous grow?
I'm asking because i'm looking for better nutes as I only use 1 one part nutrient and I want to upgrade to something better and i'm really considering buying fox farm Grow Big, Big Bloom, tiger Bloom, Cha Ching, Beastie Buds, Open Sesame.
Thanks for in advance and happy growing

How do you like your fox farm nutes?
So far, I love them! I use the fox farm hydro schedule. I feed everyother day, as in I mix nutes and water and then wait a day and water the next. I mix up 1 gallon of nutrients then I pH it to around 5.5-6.5. Careful with the solubles they burn your plant easily but so far if I spill a little while measuring out my nutes over the water (i know bad idea lol) everything is fine. I've been reading alot lately about fulvic acid and humic acid and I would definitely recommended using it with any nutrient you get. Humic and Fulvic acid naturally occur in the soil and they bond to the nutrients and sort of "drag" them into the root cells. I'm not sure if this is true but I read that even if you grow outdoor it is good to use the two of them because the humic and fulvic acid that naturally occurs in the soil has already been used up in most places by farming.

are they easy to use?
Yes and very forgiving

have you used them in a previous grow?
No, I haven't used them before but I can say that they work great with hempys. This is my first legit grow. Everything I have done before has been with a couple cfls, 1 plant, soil, no nutrients.

G-13 so far is a very easy plant to grow. I had spider mites and they tottally ate up my erkle but not the G13s. I have never once burned them. From my experience there is about a 25% chance u will get the indica pheno and have a nice short squat bush, if you have limited space that is. Me I hate that one.

Where'd you get molasses? What does it do? How and when do you use it? Same thing as Cha Ching?
I bought it at a grocery store brand is Grandma's Molasses you gotta get the unsulphered kind. It supposedly gives buds better taste better yield and gives micro nutrients that plants need. I use 1 tbls per gallon every watering. Hope that helps.

Sweet thanks. I'm going to get some later this week I've been wondering alot about molases. My Gravity says that you can use 2 tablespoons of molases with it! Can't wait to see how fat the buds get with that combination!

Harvest isnt far for the first plant, the urkle, only 3.5 weeks to go. What's the recommended flush time? 2 weeks seems a little long for my urkle, it lost alot of fan leaves to the spider mites. I don't think it would beef up enough if I did 2 weeks, I'm leaning towards 1. Will this be long enough for fox farms nutes?

I would flush 2 weeks just to make sure all the nutes are gone from the stems and roots, but you can do 1 week if you like i'm not sure how it will taste though.:leaf:

I'm thinking about one and using a finishing product from advanced nutrients that helps suck the chemicals out

So I just watered again today. I decided to stop using purple maxx as a foliar spray for now due to the weather having increased my humidity to 55%. Instead I put 1/4 teaspoon in with my nutes and I added 1 teaspoon of molases too. So far though, the purple maxx is AWESOME!!! My buds have at least doubled the number of trichs in just 2 DAYYYS!! I'm excited its gonna be dank...:leaf:

While I wait though its time for :bigjoint:

New trich pics coming in 2 days!

Something I was wondering about...if anyone is out there...my purple urkle is an 8 weeker, g13s are 11, romulan is 9, on the indica pheno of the g13 it shows sign of moderate N defiiciency...the whole yellow outline with green in the middle type of defficiency...is it too early for the g13s to be cannibalizing themselves? Same as the urkle? The urkle I don't think so though.
