Thanks, it looks really good in there. I had to move the light up today starting to get a little heat stressed on the tops directly under. but other than that all looks good. picked up a stealth 100 ro system too since i started going through 30 gals per week, and used the tap a couple of times since the store was closed.

siphon or pump it out.... with my bubblponics system, i just prop the plants up, airing out the roots, and dump the res and fill with my new solution. the point i am making is if your concern is hurting them by airing them out for 5-10 minutes to change solution/flush , this doesn't hurt the plant. If you simply dont want to move it or change anything then i would just siphon...

Yes, although I have a smaller res it is stuck in the cabinet and I siphon out too.
I have left them without a spray for an hour with no side effects i could see.

The reason I asked about the size of the drain was because I build my systems and basiclly copy others. I always felt the 1/2 in was too small and would plug up with roots. I went 1 inch and keep the roots away from the tube. Probably overkill but maybe you wanna keep an eye on how much root is in there.

I thought about using the pump , but i would rather not. I will use a siphon that sounds the easiest, i dont care about the time they spend out of the water that is how i have been doing it. Now though there is so much in the res that i could barely handle taking them out and putting them back in. How could i prevent them from growing in the drain without damaging them, pushed the drain tubes up a little for a diffrent reason, and that has not slowed them down i am glad i have a pump with a big filter.

Hopefully the drain wont plug up. Maybe you could look at the cap on the end of the rail, If your drain plugs up could that be removed and the excess water just drop into the res?
If your rails are 4x4 maybe a pvc fence post cap will fit it. (in case you fuck it up trying to take it off)

I thought you made a sig with a link here. You had two links on it I thought.

if i remove the end cap that will require some power tool use a little too dangerous to do serious cutting in that area with the abundance of roots crammed down there, i will consider it though if the drain become too clogged. And i will put some pics up either today or tom depends on which day i drain the res and give fresh nutes

Default flower 2 weeks and 1 day
2 weeks now and everything is going pretty good. I changed the res today and took a pretty good pic of one of the root chunks coming down the left drain, ended up using the pump and buying a new 28' tube to drain it instead of siphoning it. went 3/4 strength on the nutes and tomorrow night i will add full strength kool bloom, same as i did last week seemed to be right at the limit which they can take before some burn happens so i am going to keep it there. I have been looking at flowering time for hindu kush and it seems that it takes 6 weeks to mature does anyone else have any info on the subject before i go switching to powder kool bloom too early and flushing too early. Here are some a pics for your entertainment!
