This is my very first grow. So all the help is appreciated very well. I am using CFL's for this grow. I have 3 x 23w CFL's and 1 x 19w CFL. I'm getting about 7500K out of em right now.

Pictures are from the first few days into veg stage from sprouting and my lighting as of now.


This is a bagseed grow so this is my stepping stone to greatness. So to speak of course.


As soon as I get more funds I will build me a stealth grow box with the works.

Are you doing 12/12 from seed? Because from the pictures they look red spectrum(Soft and Bright White Bulbs) and those are for flowering. Blue spectrum(Daylight Bulbs) is for Vegging. Also what nutes do you plan on using? They look good so far, I will definately keep and eye on them. Good luck and good to see your getting your feet wet! May the green thumb be with you!

Do or Do not, there is no trying.

I'm running 18/6 right now. The lights may look like that because I don't have any mylar or a grow box. I'm doing this in my closet. I'm not sure on the nutes yet. Any suggestions?

You were right luv2blaze89 it was in the red spectrum. I since then changed my lights.

Picture #1: My plants true leaves are folding upwards.

Picture #2: What is that yellow spot on the true leaf.

Picture #3: I found the right daylight lights for veg stage.

Picture #4: My bulbs actual wattage and equiv.


My light setup is now 4 x 26W CFL's
Is this better.

I think I have been under watering my plant so I added a cup of water. I found this out using my moister meter.
My meter has a scale of 1 to 10. 1 being super dry and 10 being very wet. It was at 2 on the scale before watering and is now at 7. So all is well on the water front. I think that my be why my plant started to fold up and have a yellow tip on the leaves. Man I got scared there for a moment. I hope she is ok now.

Here she is after I watered her a few hours ago. You can already see her second set of leaves coming in now. They looked smaller before I added the 26W CFL's I just bought today. She is bathing in the light and loving every minute of it too.

How long did it take for the true leaves to fully develop from seed drop?

Umm I think I'm into the second week of the veg stage.
My first set of true leaves showed up a couple of days after the first week of sprouting.
