Hey all...It's about time I started a journal and also get some posts going in here. This is my third grow. I used a two ft T5 and cfls for my first 2 grows, now I stepped it up to a 250w digital MH/HPS to get a lil more out of my plants. I also have a small grow tent I'm using.

Anyway, I'm about 3 weeks in with a Afghan Kush Ryder, an AK47 Easy Rider, and a frebbie Roadrunner all autoflowering seeds. I used the T-5 for the first week and then changed to the 250w MH and have had that on a 18/6 light cycle for two weeks. I just changed to the HPS a few days ago. BTW I'm using FF Ocean Forest soil and just fed them for the first time today a half strength dose of Age Old Bloom. It's organic and was recommended to me from the guy at the hydro store. I also have Kool Bloom in powder form I might try to use to fatten them up later. Also gonna use molasses a little later on.

I'm looking forward to sharing this grow with everyone..Hopefully I'll make some friends along the way. I love looking at other people's threads so if you are growing anything I'm am, please feel free to share and show me how you're doing. I would love to check it out if I haven't already.

Sounds good. I am flowering with T5's for the first time and I was thinking of changing to a 250w setup for that cab. So this will be cool to watch. I'm a hydro guy but I play in dirt sometimes.

Here's the pics from today..The first two are of the Roadrunner, second two Afghan Ryder, and the last two are the Easy Ryder. I forgot to mention that they are all feminized also, if that wasn't obvious seeing I have only 3 plants.

They're 23 days old and I should be seeing some flowering starting soon on the Easy Ryder and Roadrunner..The Afghan Ryder I'm worried about.. I've read alot of threads about it keep growing and growing. It's pretty big for 3 weeks and bushy as hell. I don't know if I have to initiate 12/12 on it to get it to flower or what. I guess I'll see what happens. If anyone else has any suggestions on what I could do, or has grown it before, I would love some input. Thanks.

I think your plants look great.
Short node spacing, nice green color, they look very healthy. I never tried autoflower strains so I am going to keep an eye on this one.

im doin a tent grow as well. trying to do at least ten female autos under 600 watt mh/hps and a couple cfl for side lighting. does anyone know of a good auto kush that is potent?

Thanks Cruzer for the compliments, Hopefully these autoflowers work out well..If they do I could see myself collectinig pollen and making seeds definitely next time around.

Kushy- I know that the auto ak47 has had some good results. Check out the Attitude seed bank. Great site with a lot of different options and strains.


I still need advice with the Afghan Kush though. Has anyone put this auto strain in 12/12 to get it to flower, or does it just take a lot longer to start flowering? My other 2 plants are starting to get some hairs...

cool this is my first grow. i started out with a 90w led ufo what a pease of junk it started to kill my casey jones clones. thats when i went with 6 24" t5 they shot back up and are doing really good. i have had them under t5's for about 4weeks. this weekend i orderd a 250w hps. to start flowering. cant wate to see what it does. i will post some pics soon

Things are going good, the roadrunner has really taken off and the easy rider has too. Both shooting pistils out all over. The afghan still about the same, bushy, no signs of flowering yet. Just fed them again today the age old bloom half strength.. Will post pics prob tomorrow.

Here's the pics for today..the roadrunner really went crazy and stretched out a bit all the lower branches almost as tall as the top, the ak47 still is short and stout but widening up getting all the preflowers exposed to the light, the afghan still is stout and bushy, not much of a change.
