Il be using the box from my 55 gallon fish tank. Going to be a CFL grow. Working on the box and thinking about the set up right now so pics will be up later. Looking for ideas on plant set up etc.

that a pretty narrow box. i would do 1 plant, and do some LST but not all 4 ways, i would have it so you get 3 or 4 main colas in the shape of a diamond to , or all line up in a straight line. make sure you get some hooks from above to hang you lights from as the cardboard might not hold up the weight of the lights and a fan. figure out your soil mixture, if you dont buy potting soil, but also if you but potting soil dont give nutrients for quite a while. most likely til you go into Vegetative

Not my first time in the ring buddy. Actually downsizing my grow. Hopefully it will be the first one to be completed though.

Dementions now up. As for CFL's That shade has 2 26W (100W Equive) bulbs running. I have 2 spare replacements for them also. Trying to find an old ghetto dual light I made awhile back but I believe I trashed it. As for genetics. I have 2 Skunk #1 left from nirvana I want to plant, Also have about 25 bag seed from some mids. I want to plant 4-8 to account for losses since I have a bad habit of jumping the gun and killing plants.

Also I was wondering: Anyone have an idea of how big of a factor PH plays? My tap comes out at 7.6+ and my tank water stays around 7.9. So I was basically wondering if using the tank water would be worth it.

As for dirt, Im open to any and all suggestions (Things readily available at Lowes/Wal-Mart only please.)

And with plant numbers. I pretty much have no problem with chopping one or two to make room as I go. I just want some insurance right now.

Edit: Dont reserve them. I wasnt trying to be rude.

Also: I read that you could use wrapping paper as your white base on your walls? Anyone have any input?

I just use bottled water. Its only like 3$ for a 24 pack and its pH balenced. Right at 7 all the time

then I use a nute that is organic and is pH balenced. So I never have to worry about that crap! : )

ya you can plant a couple and go straight into flowering at seed. Then pull the males or weakist female : )

With that small of a box your gonna want to go 12/12 from seed or LST. Only problem with not doing 12/12 from seed is you might be LSTing a male. Just wasting your time. at least with the 12/12 you wont have to LST it will only be about 3.5 feet tall.

Anyway, Just my 2 cents : )
