This is my first stealth grow!
It is currently gowing under 2 20W 5000k cfls's and one 23W 2700k cfl. I used Happy frog soil and mixed it with 25% pearlite. I recently bought a PH tester and tested the soil. It was in between 6.5-7 which seems fine. For ventilation i put in one 4.5" exhaust fan and for intake i put a hole at the bottom which you can see in the pic, and 1 6" clip fan that blows air on the top of the box. I may need better ventilation because the temps can get to 90 but are usuall at 85 and the humidity is at about 58%. I recently switched them to 12/12 because i want a small plant. For budding i am using 3 23W 2700k cfls and a 15W 3000k tube. I am also using bone meal organic fertilizer for budding. I still have some questions. 1. Will i have enough light to bud a plant that gets to about 1 ft tall? Also, i would like to know why the leaves might be drooping a little bit. Thanks i appreciate the replies and i will update my pics soon with the rest of my setup also. PEACE

I think as a beginer I will tell you I remember those days. I never have grown organically, I usaually use Soil(organic no plant food) with worm castings you can get cedar farms organic soiless mix from home depot for 5.00.
try using this , and stay away from soil that has time released food in it. that causes the leaves to grow funky , or not enough food will do this too. Its a fine balance. Try using Fish emulsion for vege, and a good bloom juice with at least 15 phos. acid in it. The yellow orangish light in the bulbs you are using have too much harvest colors in them for propor vege growth. When using these lights ad a fish aquarium sun light. This has a blue ora , and will help the growth. Good luck growing , and keep it up, it will be a formula in time! Cheers from Seattle!-R

Doing good its already starting its side branching and is already in 12/12. Ill update pretty soon when it starts getting a little bigger. It has been in flowering for two weeks now and i havent seen a sign of male or female. My power also went out this morning for about an hour so the plants timer was behind 1 hour and instead of turning on at 10 am it turned on close to 11. What should i do??

Yea seattle. I actually have already put my plant into flower. When i turned it to 12 12 i switched one light from 5000k to 2700k. also, i used happy frog soil. i wasnt sure if it had time release nutes. Also, by the fish aquarium sun lights do you mean the ones that have 18000k? i have seen one at petco that had a very high blue spectrum.

you are fine, just make sure to let it dry pretty well before you water it again. its still looking boss, but it would benefit from a little side lighting

sounds good i just decided to flower it early because i dont have much room or lights for a big plant. I hope 3 2700k 23W CFL's and a 15W 4100k tube is enough for budding

Yeah me too, because i dont have a lot of room so i will be flowering my plant at about the same height as yours. Im sure it will be enough light, but i wouldnt expect anything crazy.

I foliar fed it with water last night and raised the lights about 10" above the plant until it was dry and moved the lights back right before the night cycle. I came home at about 3 pm today and the new leaves coming in had 2 white pistils coming out. Im very excited.
