White widow / CFL grow w/LST in small cabinet - Page 3

The neem oil isn't working. There seems to be more bugs today than yesterday.
I have been spraying the plants and dirt down once and sometimes twice a day.

so far the people that say this stuff would work are wrong.

i may just have to go with sand again.
does anyone know if that could hurt the plants? like maybe the dirt needs to breath a little?

ok cool thanks man. Everyone says different things and everything I have tried that they swear by didn't work for me. I can't afford to buy all these products anymore.

I had to chop one of the white widows down yesterday because I think she was the main source of the gnats. all the leaves were falling off except on the top.
sucks.

I am thinking about getting a couple more clones today. They will be a couple weeks behind the others but I am ok with that.

if all else fails then use cheap home-made mix..Take a cig, put it in a water, let it sit ofr a couple of hours(then the bad stuff will leave) and then add liquid soap...and then mist your plants away...A lil trick i learned form a good friend Canefan....

that sounds kinda cool. And this will not damage my plants or slow down the growth?

3 new white widow clones from the club today.
also I chopped down the old widow because of bug damage

No, not at all..just left the cig water alone for couple of hours and your ready to go...It helped me...

I must have added to much nutes because the leaves started to brown. see images.
I took all the plants over to the tub and did a mini flush. I have 1 gallon pots. I was reading I should flush about 3 gallons through the dirt but that was for adult flowering plants before the harvest. Since the ladies are still so young I didn't use the recommended amount of water.
I flushed about 1 or 1/2 gallons of water through for each plant. hope they love me for it.

The NYC really took off this past week as you can see! It has past the size of the banana that is a week older. I am sure this is because I topped the banana about 2 weeks ago. NYC- seems to be very healthy and I don't think I am going to top her. I want to see the difference between topped and untopped plants.
the flush I did a couple days ago must have helped because no more leaves have turned brown since.

I repotted one of the white widows into a 3 gallon pot. the rest stayed.
I wanted to see if this effects the overall strength of the plant. more roots can't be bad right.
The WWs have grown a decent amount this past week. It seems like the NYC and banana took off during week 2 and 3, let see what the widows do this coming week. I hope they take off also.

I am still seeing a couple gnats every once in a while.
thinking about doing the cigarette method.

has anyone else tried this method?
