ok, been a little while since i've been on the site....
time to update a little...

I'm still waitin for the electrition to hook up my wiring. but everything else is ready to go...

i have 4 mums on the go, cause i'm a sucker for variety, so i have 16 individual 3 gal. pots in the room that will be filled with hydroton. (u can grow HUGE plants!!!) they are all lumped up with 1/2" hose into a controller unit (3 gal bucket with white timer on the outside). the controller unit is then connected to a 55 gal drum on the outside of the vapor barrier to keep my water cooler. the controller unit has 3 float valves and utilizes 2 sub pumps, 1 in the control unit 1 in the 55 gal drum. 4 times a day the timer will fill the control unit up; because all the buckets are hooked to it they'll fill up as well. 15 minutes later, the water pumps the sol'n back in to the 55 gal drum and all the pots are emptied.

2 1000's on movers will cover the area. they are inline, 240 or 120 V, and run MH and HPS bulbs. so 1 room veg and bloom...

these are some of the nuits i'll use for the first cycle... a hydro place sent them free cause i dropped a cold 1000 dolla there. i got bc grow, bloom, n boost, lets grow n bloom, growtek grow n bloom, and all sorts of B1's and other goodies!!

NOW, lets see whats goin on in the next room... i have about 35 cuts in my DIY cloner (props epix), all are rom x ssh for this cycle... had about a cup of olivias in the res, but the rest just plain ro tap water, constant ph of 5.5. and of course a couple air stones... had the pump on 24/7 for the first week, then 30 s on/ 5 min off with a cycle timer... when cuttin, tried dippin a few bottoms in rootin gel, soakin others in concentrated olivias, and some did nothin at all, and with the exception of 1 or 2, they all EXPLODED with roots after 9 days. for lights i had 3 2' T5's. hung them about 2' above the plants for 3 days, them lowered them down 10" above the plant tops...

these pictures are from 4 days ago, so they are more than ready for transplanting....

unfortunatle, i'm gonna have to throw the majority away, why mess with a good thing. i can only keep 18; 16 to transplant/grow/bloom and 2 for new mums (i already have 2 on the go)

so i did a little transplanting the other day; the clone's roots were 2 ft long, lol... i have 16 rom/ssh in the buckets filled with hydroton. My light mover motor already CRAPPED OUT, so i just have the 2 1000's rigged up to hang in the middle of the room while i'm getting a new motor...

it is a complete mess in my grow room; extension cords everywhere... i'm in desperate need of the electrition to hurry up and come by; the only things running now are the 2 lights and inline fan blowin thru the lights, and the hydro unit. i have everything running on seperate breakers for right now...

that hydro unit is AWESOME and easy to use; i have it set to flood the pots 4 times a day for 15 min at a time. im using the LETS GROW and POWER THRIEVE B1 for nuits right now. the plants went thru a rough transplant, but have perked up nice in the last day...

for mums, i have 1 arjan strawberry haze and 2 medical plant on the go; they have a little yellow discoloration on the leaves, but look healthy. the 1 rom/ssh i have is only 2.5 ft tall, but has about 14 tops; i've decided to bud that 1 out for right now. i'll get a different cut of rom/ssh for a new mum when my other 16 plants get bigger, but i wont have any rom/ssh growin next cycle.

the nuitradip tri-meter i have works awesome: constant monitoring of ph (i guess i'll keep it around 6), ppm, and temp in my res... well worth the money...

it'll be a mess untill i get an electrition, but atleast everything is growin. its dam bright in that room even without the lights on movers, so they should be fine for a few weeks.

i was convinced that the lights can be hung directly on the mover bar at the highest point at all times, so no lowering or raising chains. so we'll just see how that works for the first cycle...

And right on with the new strains, wouldn't mind trying the Strawberry haze! how far along are they? Sounds Yum Yum....

But hay, you mean you got the lights hanging like at the top point?
You are going to get some Major Bad stretching man!

In your pic you see the shadow line on the wall, it should be Just over the plant's..

The higher that line is the More your plants stretch...
Best to keep that line a few inch's over the canopy.......

And when you get the new motor you can lower it even more, the closer the better....

Every thing looks awsome tho, gonna have to yap latter bout the electrical prob man..
It's eacy to do, you just gotta buy the Right parts, i do know the basics...........

well the plants are lookin alot better now. i changed the water and lowered the temp in the room. growteck grow and powerthrieve are in the water, 15 min feed 5 times a day. i also have 4 mums in the room right now, growin out of soil. the romxssh mum in the pic has about 15 tops
lights are on 18/6 and it is bright as shit in there. they are still hangin at the top of the room, and still dont have inline exhaust, but i'll have that goin soon.
i'm suckin air in from the outside to cool the room down to about 75. the intake fan is on a thermostat so the colder it gets outside, the less the fan will run. should work great for now, but i'll be gettin an a/c unit in the spring.
everything is calibrated on the trimeter, the ph hovers around 6 with only 900 ppm at the moment... i also revamped the exhaust for better exit

finally!!! i have my electrical figured out.... 60 amp double pole breaker in the main box, then wired to my room just outside the poly to a secondary box. it has a 40 amp double pole that is wired to a 240V intermatic timer, heavy duty steel, then to plugs in the room for my digi ballasts to plug into... the secondary box also has 3 15 amp single pole breakers for 3 external plugs within the room...

the reason my lights are hanging stationary from thye roof is that my new mover motor hasnt come in the mail yet. unfortunately, i'm gonna have to try get rid of it, i just plan on addin another 1000 instead, so if anyone needs a mover with warrenty...
