thanks man new pics are going to be up tomorrow the plants are taken off

alright everyone the room is looking great as well are the plants. everything seems to be running smoothly just added some nutes to the hydro system and were ready to rock n roll. let me know how the plants look and if there are any helpful tips anyone has for me, im all ears.

If you can find some way to cover that rockwool
you will avoid alot of mold...

what do people usually cover the rockwool with? and how does it stop mold from forming?

I use squares (some sort of plastic) that are white
on top and dark on the bottom...

They sell them around the internet but you can go
cheap by cutting a hole in the middle of some paper
plates and cut down the side of each.

When the light penetrates the wet rockwool, it creates
mold...it can get bad too.

BRO to get rid of the mold just buy one more bag of hydroton and cover the rock wool to the top problem solved plus looks cleaner this bag was $3.95 on HTG.

hey guys anyone out there that has used a flood and drain system. i was wondering how often i should change the water in my res and how often i should be giving them nutes. i heard once a week change res and nutes not too sure want to make things run smoothly. thank you. will have new pics up in a few days.

and cheeto i actually have more hydroton rocks cause we did not use all of them but i ended up just doing paper plates i might switch well see.

I ease into the veg. nutes until full strength at about
3 or 4 weeks in.

I also drain about every week...if you don't have
the money for nutes go every 10 days, just watch
the ph because mine usually gets high with my e&b.
