Yeah it's just tap water. It does smell a tad like that but I'm not sure it smells JUST like chlorine.

You're doing fine and just a nervous first time mother. The little ones always look kind of weird when then start. Did you pop the seeds before you put them in the system or did you just put the seed in as is? It can take a week for all the seeds to start growing. Did you put the seeds in just barely covered or did you use the premade hole in the rockwool? No nutes until they have two sets of real leaves (not the little one the plant used to crack the seed - they don't count and will soon turn yellow and die. Patience is all that is required.

Just double check your ph again as well....Sometimes the water can have a funny smell if you put too much ph down in it....

Thanks for all the help. Checked the water this morning and it was at a pH of 7.4 so I put some pH-Down in it to fix that. They are looking pretty good today.

7.4 is kind of high. Very high in fact. Any reason you can think of for it being that high? Does the ph bounce alot?

Not other than this time. I got it back down to 6.5 so I will see how it goes from here. Will update in a couple hours.

if you ph bounces..then take a sample in a cup from the rez. and test that.Keep the ph in ranges 5.5-6.5

Okay sorry it's been a bit since an update. We added two new seedlings to it before the other ones got too big. So now we have 4 plants growing all with 4 actual leaves. The two newer ones are a lot darker that the original two. Can you determine indigca or sativa this early on? If you look at the pictures the one on the top far right had some spots on it's initial leaves, does that mean anything? Also some of the larger leaves have began to kinda fold? We got the pH hovering back around 6 now and have put in nutrient water. We put 1/4 of Grow and 1/4 of Micro and plan to do this in 4 consecutive days. Any advice, if you see anything out of the ordinary, would be appreciated.

Look pretty normal to me. Do you have a fan blowing air between the top of the plant and the lights. It will strenghten the stems of the plant. Can really tell sativa or indica for sure yet but from the looks of those wide leaves I'd day indica or an indica dominated cross. Spots mean close to nothing on the first little leaves. They will die off soon. Their job is done.
