Hello all on RIU, hope you all having a good day, finally after a year if not longer on this site ive decided 2 start my own grow. Just finished the veg box 2day.

Its three 20w CFL's in a
30(w)x30(d)x70cm(h) space with a 120mm Pc Fan for extraction and a 2 inch pipe at bottom for active intake, walls are covered with mylar.

Going first thing tomorrow to get seeds and possibly soil. I have some B&Q top soil in the shed, wondered if i could use this??? will be using Ionic Soil Grow Nutes For Vegging.

Plan to Veg in this for a couple of weeks until I get the rest of my kit, plan to buy

I already have pots, another 80mm quiet pc fan and Ionic nutes.

Is there anything you can think i left out??

plan 2 use the drawer for vegging and then the tent for flowering.

I want to get a 250w HPS, would that be too much for the tent.

Also I have a Vaccum Filter, (pictured below) just sitting about the house, would it be possible to convert this into a Carbon Filter???

ok guys just giving use a quick update, have gone for autoflowering ak47 x lr2 seeds. put 2 in a moist paper towel in a glass yesterday, checked 2day but they havent shown any signs yet. put a third seed in a shot glass with water, once it sinks ill stick it in soil. was going to use soil i have lying about but decided 2 splash out on some biobuzz all mix. will get some more pics up as soon as they sprout 4 me!!
