First Wal-Mart Hydro Drip System, T5s and 400w HPS
I have been growing for about a year now and you know as a grower you always want to upgrade and better your setup. I know this grow is a little wal-mart ish but I want to make sure everything goes well before I go to a better setup.
Set-up:
4 Four foot T5s for Veging
400w HPS for Flowering
2 15 gal res
8 5inch net pots
35gph fountain pump
2gph drippers
Air pump with a stone
Silica stone
and Fox Farm Nuts
I have set the timers to run 4 times a day for 15 mins. I am on half nuts till I get a better rut system established. I dont have a ppm meter so everything is off of the FF website. The air pump is running 24/7 to keep the nuts moving and mixed well.
The girls in the pots are a week old. Still waiting for the others to root.

I went ahead and cut down my mother plant today. I think she had a disease. All the fan leafs were dieing, it was time. I did take a clone from one of the good branches in hope to get another mother.
I have 4 clones in rockwool that were taken on 7/14 that are all rooted an in pots and 5 clones in rapid rooter plugs that were taken a couple days later that have yet to show me roots. They also will be going to the sister system. Once they are ready for the flowering stage I will go to a new system.
Im thinking im going to go the Mr. Green way, a drip system for the mother and clones and a ebb&flow for flowering.
Temps are looking good in the dome. Still no signs of roots yet.
I'll sign on for this, High.
I have a similar system but I am running my drippers 24-7.
I also cover my baskets in early root formation stage.
Do you know what the genetics of the plants are?

I growlegal.
Thanks for joining in on what I hope will be a great ride for my first hydro grow.
It is great bagseed that I got about a year ago. I was told it was one of the best strains in the area (no name to go with it). All I know is that it gives my friwnds and myself one hellva high.
I have thought about running 24/7 but sence I am dripping on the rockwool itself I dont want to get root rot. I think when the roots get some lenght on them I will switch to a drip ring and run it 24/7.
