Right Just So U Know, Im Only Growing The One Plant, And I Dont Have A Charger For My Camera With The Photos On Of When It Was Young (Baring In Mind This Is Only Week 3)

Im Growing With 2 22Watt Cfl Desk Lamps, ( This Grow Is On A Budget ) With Miracle Grow As Nutes And Multi Purpose Compost In A 2ltr Bottle .

Im Growing Lowryder 2, Its Already Started Showing Many Good Bud Sites And Some REALLY Good Ones (About 12 In All) With More Forming, And The Ones I Have Are All Coated Heavily In Crystal And Massive Trichs Lol

Seems To Be Really Tall For Lowryder (Pushing Over 2 Foot) At This Age But Hey, Ive Trimmed All Of The Biggest Fan Leaves Which Has Seemd To Promote Growth Everywhere Else (Its Really Speeded Up Dramaticly)

Bit Of A N00b Grow But Going Well So Far, Any Ideas Or Help Is Welcome :P

Just So U Know The Pics Included Arent Taken In The Grow Room, I Had To Move The Plant For Them. Honestly The Pics Dont Do This Plant Justice, When I Get A Charger Ill Update The Pics From The Crappy Ones..

Doesn't look anything like my LR2. Maybe that's what they look like with poor lighting. I'm using 1 200w CFL @ 2700K.

Dude, its 3 weeks old, What can you expect? How old are urz? could you post some picz?

Ive trimmed it dramaticly also so it looks like 1/4 of the size, the plant is mega healthy, i took the picz with webcam so they look much duller, ill update them soon now ive re-potted (Even in flowering) But its taken to it well. also My friend is growing 4 lr2's under 2 600w Hps and are at 4 weeks, however none of them have newhere near as much budding, arent as tall, nore as healthy looking.

Read my post. I'm suggesting they're not like mine 'cos you're using crap lightning, that's all. Mine are 3 weeks old too. Just look in my Journal to see them. Latest pics at the end obviously and she looks COMPLETELY different to yours.

Good luck anyways and try to get some better lightning in there. They start flowering at about the 21 day mark.

OMFG... did you not read mine?? i have trimmed mine, thats y it dont look like yourz.... and mine already is budding how could you not see the buds on the picture or where i wrote it?? mines at 24 days and started budding around day 14. also the fact of my plant is at 2 foot which is much taller than yours... that is the reason why they look so different... how can you tell me to read your post, when this is my thread and apparently you havent read any of it. also no seeds are gonna produce the exact same plants.

we will compare our harvests when they are both finished if you like.

Just A Quick Update -
The Budz on the plant have literally doubled in size, the plant keeps trying to get more bushier which i keep trying to prevent, and the smell is going through the roof, even though they aint menna smell that bad lolz

soz about the poor pic quality again! but u can deffo see all of the budz and that its going well though lol

Dude you really want to get yourself some more CFLs, they really arent that expensive for a small grow room, you only need 4-16 for your plant (massive buds, who can argue?). More is always better remember that. Dont forget to cure it, you look eager enough to smoke it wet :P

Jeez - if I wanted to win a race to get the tallest plant I'd have put it in a dark room with a single LED on the ceiling. Looks like you've done the next best thing though.

And cutting leaves off to promote growth??!! They are the energy collectors of the plant. Hey I've an idea... why don't you cut off every single leaf bar one - you'd end up with massive nuggets right???? Christ, have you read anything on this site

Haha, im not after the tallest plant at all, but i believe a 2foot lowryder would yield more than a 1 foot lowryder(No proof, just belief) and i have all the intention of following peoples advice, i do plan to get better lights, just not for 1 plant and not for my first grow.

and no, i know cutting off leaves reduces the oxygen levels, but no i havent cut them all off, only the big leaves that arent allowing as much air circulation

and if u want to proove that cutting off the leaves does anything bad to the plant it dosent, some people say they need the leaves to take in more light etc, but also some people say cutting of the leaves diverts the energy to other places (Which seems to make sense to me and alot of other people) i dont want you to stop commenting in my diary, because im up for the critisiscm as ive never done this before

and dont take it to heart that im arguing back, we all have diff opinions and ideas buh no need to be a cock over a n00b grow
