thanks man

the white powder is dermitacious earth... basically silicon dioxide it cuts up bugs basicaly. Its good for keeping bugs outta your soil if you mix it in and helps with slugs if you make a barrier, but you gotta reapply it after rain and sometimes it'll cause some white powder mold on the soil. THe best slug remedy i have found is iron phosphate slug bate applied weekly. I have had some serious slug issuesand thats the only thing that seems to really kill em off.

Yeah I bet slugs are a problem it looks kind of swampy where you are. They look healthy except for the bug damage. Have you tried using Neem oil on them? There looks like some grasshopper or leafhopper action going on. Good luck with 'em.

lol yea been using just about everything... DE on the leaves, neem oil, incesticidal soaps, azamax, and spinosad, not all at once of course. I've also used metaldehyde and iron phosphate slug baits

Im gonna hit them with the azamax and spinosad combo once a week for 3 weeks and see how they do. I already sprayed them with that on the 10th and hit them with neem yesterday.

I've also tried pyrethrum on the surrounding brush areas. I'm thinking about hitting the plants with pyrethrum or seven dust, but i do not want to keep beneficial insects away.

It sounds like you've got a good fight on your hands. I guess you have the BT, Kills A Variety Of Caterpillars & Worms also huh? Just hope the swamp rabbits stay away but some blood meal could help you there. Gotta love the great outdoors.

I am fucking fed up with this shit. I went out today and all 2 of the 4 plants were eaten up halfway up to the stem once again. On top of that some fucking animal (i think i saw a racoon track before i stepped on it) dug up one of my plants out of the pot and knocked it over. Once i start to make progress i am back where i was.
I moved them to different locations, within a couple hundred yards but in areas that are very dry out of the swamp, though they are all within 50 yards of a lake. One is about 15 feet from a huge hole going into the ground.

lol i was fuckin pissed but im not gonna go out and shoot every critter, that is if my plants are not bothered since i moved them

A rabbit dug up a different bucket and ate the top 3rd of the roots last night. The first plant that was dug up so it was completely outside teh container is actually doing OK, just flimsy... it could get worse though its only been 2 days.

I'm going rabbit hunting in the morning.

I transplanted the big guy to the bag two days ago and all of them split 2 gallons of worm casting/bat guano tea along with a spray of spinosad/azimax yesterday.

I got cages up on all of them but only have pics of 3 of them. They're not staked in the ground yet, so im hopin some little fucker doesnt knock the cages over

Can anyone tell the sex? Looks to me like the first two are female, but i could be wrong..
