Hey yall im starting my grow journal today. I just stuck 4 seeds in some soil today and they should be coming up within the next few days. There isnt much i can put in here till then, just gettin it started. Im going to be using CFLs like i did my first grow. Im using Schults Potting Soil Plus.Used it last tie and it worked great. I only have a couple of my cfls from my last grow still so im gonna have to go get a couple. Anyone with a nice little cheap closet grow setup send me pics and supplies list, my last grow was super ghetto so this time im gonna try to make it more respectable. Heres a pic of my plant i had at the end of 08. Had to chop early cause it was in my moms house and she got busted for dealin, they didnt find it tho thank god. It was a few weeks into flower when i chopped and it had buds all over, dont have any pictures with the buds tho.

Just found my old lights i used on my first grow. There all 7 the 23w 2700k i used for flower. I also have 2 6500k, im gonna prolly get another 2 or 3 6500k which should prolly be good for veg. What i have right now is.

2 23w 6500k
7 23w 2700k
Timer
Temp gauge
3 lamp head sockets from random lamps
2 ceramic light bulb sockets
couple pc fans
light socket splitter

I have a piece of wood about an inch thick and 2 or 3 inches wide, im gonna drill holes and put the light sockets into it and put a splitter in the sockets and hang that above the plant/plants. If anyone has any tutorials on how to make one like that or something else like it thats easy and cheap send me it please. thanks

Just went to menards and got a $10 42w daylight bulb, equal to 200w. They have monster sized 65w 2700k bulbs about the size of a football that are $17 each that im gonna get one or 2 of when its time to flower to go along with my 7 other 2700k 23w bulbs.

2 of the seeds came up the other day so i guess im gonna have 2 plants goin. They got the first set of pointy leaves and are starting on the second set now. There about 4 days old or so. Right now i have them under 24 hour light. I want to go 18/6 withg these ones, when is a good tie to switch to 18/6 for veg?

started 18/6 last night for the veg cycle. 12-6am is off , 6am to 12 its on.

built a ghetto reflector/hood whatever you wanna call it out of a sheet of metal. I got 2 42w and 2 23w 6500k cflls under it on my 2 baby plants.
