Default Rhino's in the wild & scrogged indoors
So, I decided to start my own journal rather than posting in everyone elses... although that is what a forum is for right??? Anyway here goes.

This is my 2nd attempt at growing. First time was indoors with some good genetics under flouros. Very big learning experience, and I unfortunately did not document any of it. I read many posts on here before making my mark and I would like to thank RIU for a community like this.

Now for the fun part. I started to White Label Rhino seeds back in February, took about 50 clones and kept the survivors... about 15. (not enough perlite in soil mix). I now have 6 clones outside varying in height from 3 feet down to 8 inches. 3 footer went outside 6/02. The other two larger ones a week later. The smaller ones all went out a week ago.

Additionally I am gonna scrog 3 others indoors just to understand the concept better.

Now that all of the background is outta the way, we can get to what people wanna see... pictures!!!!

Dr. thanks for stopping by!! glad your along for the ride

Just some more background for those who are interested. The outdoor gardens are in sandy marshy creek bank that floods every 10 years or so. The vegetation surrounding the gardens is nearly 12 feet tall and has only been growing for appx. 70 days now. Summer has been warm and wet feels like a tropical rain forest every time I go and check them. I mixed in some organic blood meal in with the soil when they went out, and I haven't decided when or if I will add a bloom mix. All suggestions are welcome!

I have to give credit to RIU member "Natmoon" for my indoor concept. I used the airbasket design for my first grow and loved it. So I am trying again this time with a 3 plant scrog. Same cuttings as outside just a few weeks behind. I am up in the air about ordering an HPS for flower....pretty sure I am gonna stay with flouros just for the challenge and to test the idea that flouros with a flat canopy will be as effective as single HPS. We shall see... I may start an HPS vs. flouro battle here and that is not the intention... I just like the challenge of growing with a $10 light

If anyone who stops by has any suggestions for next year, I am looking for a monster sativa, something that will reach 10 or 12 tall, If I can time the growth right I can stick it out when all the native vegetation starts and let everything grow together, that would be ideal. I was a little unprepared this year and ended up having to clear areas after the native stuff was 2 feet over my head already. It would provide great cover as this stuff is like walking through a forrest of bamboo just easier to break down. I currently have some white widow and belladonna seeds in addition to the rhinos. Pics after a few days of sun

Default Scrog pics!!
Ok, so the outdoors have to wait but doesn't mean we can't take a look inside. Placed screen in yesterday to get a feel of how they react to it. I will probably raise it another 3 inches just to make watering easier. I know you are supposed to wait till screen is 60% full, well I am pretty much there cuz of the 3 plants, so I am planning on flipping the lights very soon. Not too sure how this is going to play out but we will all get to see.
