    Arrow Bubblelicious CFL SOG

    Area:
    2'7"x1'4"x1'10" (31"x16"x22")
    Lighting:
    6x 42w = 252w / 15,600 Lumen's
    8x 26w = 208w / 12,800 Lumen's
    Total 460w / 28,400 Lumens
    Pots:
    28 1/2 2 Liter's
    Plants:
    56 Plants. 2 Plants Per 1/2 2 Liter
    Grow Style:
    CFL SOG
    Goal:
    Illusive 1g per watt

The Below image is the basic layout for this grow.

(NOTE: I am an HPS grower, After looking into the CFL forums and seeing a lot of great results with CFL I wanted to give it a go and see if I could reach the 1g per watt goal that so many attempt to get. )

For almost a month I had been taking clones but scratching my head as to why the clones were taking so long to root. ( The seed to Mother journal for this Bubblelicious can be found here. )Well as luck may have it the rockwool that the clones were put into was somehow contaminated down the road. So rooting took literaly forever for a lot of clones. Most of the contaminated rockwool clones have major wilting issue's (though they will make it but be nothing more than a nugget). New good clones will be added until the flower area is full. When the area is full all clones from the contaminated rockwool that have not started to grow or look like they will only produce a nugget will be remove & replaced with good clones. (More than enough clones have been taken to replace all wilted clones & fill the rest of the area).

Please keep in mind that initial pictures will contain a lot of wilted clones, As I stated above this was due to contaminated rockwool & these clones will be replaced once the entire area is full of good clones.

400 watt metal halide gives you far more lumens then 460 watts of CFL's
I have tried both, CFL's are good for starting new plants, in my opinion.
    Too maturity???

Ya i could plug in the HPS but it would defeat the whole idea of testing out CFL's lol (Thus why i designated a 22" tall area for this test grow )

Hey i'm right there with ya man, I used to think "Flower with CFL? Your a freeking moron!!" But not anymore after seeing some of the grows HERE. .

Throughout reading the CFL forums for quite some time watching these amazing little micro cfl grows I decided i had to give it a shot at least. The HPS is not going anywhere and eventually the bubblelicious will find its way to it, but for now its CFL testing time.

First Pics so we will call this day 1 of flower (even though some clones are on day 5 of flowering).

Ok 95% of the 32 plants that are currently in the flower area should survive. New growth is appearing on those that were extremely wilted. Some will still be surely removed since I do not see them producing more than just a base nugget. The rest of the clones are almost done & will be added to the flowering area within a few days along with the removal of any wilted clones that I think will only produce a base nugget.

Anyways heres 2 el cheepo pics just to put some up. Daily pics will occur from now till first Harvest..

Nope no clue how it had gotten contaminated so i just tossed the blocks I had left.

Ya most of the wilted plants have started to push out some new growth, but some of them I will not let grow much longer, a nugget --------------------- big is a little pointless and a waste of space and electric bill Especially when i have enough clones to re-populate the CFL flowering area like x10 times lol..

    Day 2

Nothing but a few pics. Within the next 10 or so days actual bunching up & flowering should begin, when they do start to show there lil tiny flowered tops more pictures will be taken every day. Until those flowered tops show 1 or 2 pics will be taken every day.

ya I better get more than a gram per plant or else these CFL's are going to find there way to outlets through the house lol. (1g was just my guestimate if I was to leave the really bad wilted ones in there without replacing them

I need like 7g per plant to hit 1g per watt. (more like 8g)

8g doesn't seem like very much per plant but then i'm thinking of SOG with HPS not cfl. hopefully 7-8g per plant with CFL is doable only time will tell either way this lil CFL journey should be a fun one. I can't wait for all the ups and downs that come with a new method
