2x 42w & 2x 26w are still to be added to the area, this will happen when the rest of the clones are added.

so total lumens for the area will be 28400 & area is 3.4sq ft roughly (base area not including height since cfl can't penetrate worth crap). so thats an avg of 8k+ lumens per sq ft. This will probably only apply to the inner 2 rows of 2 liters. The outside edge 2 liters will only get around 5.5k - 6k per sq ft.

the same 400w with hps would produce 21,600 more lumen's than the current CFL setup fyi. So is less heat, cheap bulbs & literally the ability to grow anywhere worth the loss of 21,600 lumen's? We will see..

Things are looking good, technically some of the plants have been in flower for 7 days now & there stretching has been very very minimal, hopefully this continues.

do your bulbs actually run cooler with the wiring method?

i have mine on Y spliters and if my fan fallso utta my outtake...( fuckin shitty ducttape)

my temp will EASILY get to 96 degree's from loosing 1 outake , (leaving 1 intake and 1 outtake still on the box..)

i even now have a fan blowing on the light fixture...still is hot any suggestions ?

Air intake is just a O shaped whole up in the right hand corner & also a 1/2" slit that goes from the center of the front bottom to the back (its on the floor.)
Also in this corner is a small fan pointing diagnal down the the left hand corner.

Exhaust is just a good PC Fan. Air is cycled through the area faster than it can become too warm. so airflow is pretty good.

Area left/right/top/bottom & back are lined with a thin clear layer of plastic.
Front doors have black foam lining the area's doors edge and create a light seal & air seal.

The floor of the flowering area has a 1/2" wide opening that goes from the front of the box to the back of the box exactly centered in the area. Below the 1/2" gap is a peice of plastic in a U pattern so that all excess water drainage from the flower area drains through 1/2" crack into the U shape plastic then directly to the houses drainage foundation. (this also serves as another air intake, air pulled into the area from here is much cooler since it is drawing cool temp's from the houses foundation

2x 42w & 2x 26w are still to be added to the area, this will happen when the rest of the clones are added.
just a hint, keep a constant watch for mold with the plants being that close to the houses main drainage

you could stick a couple of frozen water bottles in there, stick em in something so there's no water damage from condensation. you could even use a few if its too hot... good luck

The PC fan does more than enough to kill the heat

Ya theres no mold thank god, the floor under the flower area & the entire inside of the flower area are painted with acrylic white mold deterrent paint & a waterproofing mold resistant white paint. (The inside of the box is lined with 1 solid sheet of clear plastic, except for the front. The doors edges are all sealed with black lightproof foam.

The PC fan can pull more air than i am allowing it to so with that much airflow long term moisture accumulation shouldn't be a problem I am actually surprised how much air this pc fan can circulate. (it was from an alien led open sided tower). You can put your hand back where the fan is blowing out and its just hot air but inside the flowering area its nice and cool. When the doors are closed the fan definitely creates a vacuum inside the flowering area

Great looking out though man.

I should have wrote all the info eh :/ lol.

Def ty though, if I didn't know and you didn't tell me i could have ended up 3 weeks till harvest with a crop of slime.

(if i don't make sense please excuse me, a lil tired & a lil baked )

the only reason I am able to keep this area extremely cool with all the lights in there is because of it being pretty air sealed so when my exhaust fan is on all area's old air is being pushed out as new air is pulled in from 2 intakes 1 in opposite corner and about 1 1/2" sq & the other in the center of the floor thats about 1/2"x16".

without a good seal it just pulls air from wherever gives the least resistance to its vacuum.

lol. i'll try and take better pics but as for borrowing & def buying a good one, out of the question at this point lol But i'll post better pics when things start picking up. Trying to get good pics with this cheap cam at this point would just be a waste of time But i will have better pics when things get moving along.
