you know, ive had nothing but up's with cfl's i mean this is my 3rd grow. and with the cfl's its the first time ive made it this far. nothing bad has happen yet, ( knock on wood ) and im almost 3 weeks into flowering. and it looks AMAZING so just keep growing! cfl's the cheapest way to go, im on a low budget so i couldn't afford a HPS or MH , plus im running a total of 141 watts.. for 1 plant, geeze i hope i get 1 gram per watt LOL i 12/12'd when it was like 2 weeks old. its about a foot tall now, well you know.... lol

ya they need to be a little bit closer but they are only about 2" from most tops right now (well ones directly below). I put them a little higher to start since the clones were already hating life from the contaminated rw being any closer would have been sure death for most of them.

the the small area thats being covered right now is really only like 1.5sq ft and theres 11600 lums sitting right above so there ok at least when there so small. Ty though Def toss out any info you would like to share, I am stubborn and set in my ways and will do things my way regardless lol but every bit of input you and everyone else has is greatly appreciated. The most important thing is when the day of harvest comes someone out there has gotten something out of a thread be it bud pron or tossing idea's back and forth

A male has been removed from the veg area & flowering clones taken from the male will be removed if any are in the flower area. chances are there is not any even in the room considering how many casualties the clones suffered from the chemical attack launched by the rockwool. Freekin grodan's I tell ya.

Hell yea bro, dont take any advice from anyone unless you ask for it! growing with cfls is a fun learning expierence, try out what you think is best, if not.....it was only an experiment to begin with good luck to ya! heres some cfl bud porn day 16 after light cycle changed to 12/12

Day 4

I decided to wait a day to place the new clones into soil in the flower area, they have somewhat of a root system but I'm going to let it get a little bigger before i put them into 2 liters.

The clones & there humidity dome have been put into the flower area though might as well let them start there flowering delay while i wait for a larger root ball.

I have 9 more 2 liters to put into the area. This will fill my area and bring the total number of plants to 56!!

there are 2x more 42w & 2x more 23w to be added. when the last rows of clones are added.

Just a little flower area info.

(and yes i haven't made reflectors, maybe when they get there perms ill make something

Air intake is just a O shaped whole up in the right hand corner & also a 1/2" slit that goes from the center of the front bottom to the back (its on the floor.)
Also in this corner is a small fan pointing diagnal down the the left hand corner.



Exhaust is just a good PC Fan. Air is cycled through the area faster than it can become too warm. so airflow is pretty good.



Area left/right/top/bottom & back are lined with a thin clear layer of plastic.
Front doors have black foam lining the area's doors edge and create a light seal & air seal.



The floor of the flowering area has a 1/2" wide opening that goes from the front of the box to the back of the box exactly centered in the area. Below the 1/2" gap is a peice of plastic in a U pattern so that all excess water drainage from the flower area drains through 1/2" crack into the U shape plastic then directly to the houses drainage foundation. (this also serves as another air intake, air pulled into the area from here is much cooler since it is drawing cool temp's from the houses foundation

2x 42w & 2x 26w are still to be added to the area, this will happen when the rest of the clones are added.
