first off, I'm starting with a sour diesel seed, (that's what it was called) and it looks like it could be a hydro plant, but that could just be because it's a bomb lol

I was looking for a plant that won't be too stinky, and I know that completely cuts out the skunky weeds like a GDP seed I had.... :/

Anyways, I had the seed in germination for 2 days, planted it, 2 days later it sprouted out, it's been 5 days 'since it first sprouted...

I spoke to a friend, he said to just get going I need some soil, peat moss and perlite, I have those, and I'm using organic miracle gro potting mix with some additives but in small amounts...?

I'm growing this in a closet, out in the open, I don't want it in a dinky box... I have 1 CFL dunno the wattage and 3 mirrors to help it out...

mirrors are sucking up your light,,white paper would prolly be ebetter,,get some mylar or something reflective,,baby looks good,,for now,,you'll need more light down the road,,but for now ok

I thought it was a good idea 'since I've only got one cheap CFL...

Would it be better to put it against a corner with white walls and ish?

I'm waiting to find a something like 250-350w HPS? I just don't like any of the ballasts I see with them, and I don't want to use money for anything atm... lol

The stem looks very narrow, it looks like the plant struggles a bit to hold itself upright. :/

Is it okay to periodically turn the light off? I sometimes water it and turn the light off.......

-Also, Is it okay that the roots get direct light through the clear bottle pot I made?

try this sey up is the same as a 400 watt MH but its cooler and you can place the lights right on top of your plants...cost less to run

no.. absolutely not. roots do not like light. put in opaque pot or cover the roots. don't leave lights off for longer than 8 hours. don't change light time cycles much or you will stress the plants

Cool. Thank you so much, I just put paper around the cup and stapled it... Hopefully that helps, it's white paper, though... I was thinking of a sock, but I still believe light portrays directly through a sock, so I didn't want to do that and have it also soak up the water at the bottom, possibly causing mold or some wierd ish?

-Are those like, long tubes or something?

-I JUST have 4' of space in the closet... I'm not too concerned about heat, my roommate likes the house cold, and won't let it get too below cool because of his dog..
