400w Closet SOG (24 plants)

Hellooo RIU.

As you can see I am excited for this one.. I would consider this my third indoor grow, and I finally switched over from CFL's and got myself a 400w cool tube for flowering.

For this grow I am without a doubt doing a SOG, with 24 flowering plants.. and room for a few more incase they take an extra couple weeks. I was trying to decide on the best container to use for this all soil grow.. and I finally figured out that the cheapest way is also the best way.. Im using 2L soda bottles cut at 6" for the smaller clones ontop of the veg box, and 2L bottles cut to 10". This way I can reuse the bottles everytime!

The Dimensions of the closet/box are:
Its the bottom half of the closet..

54"w
54"h
30"d

and inside of that space will be a smaller box for mothers and rooting clones. The smaller box also serves as a way to level the canopy between the 2wk&4wk clones and the 6wk&8wk clones.

The dimensions of the beg box are:

20"w
24"h
30"d

Ive got a few white skunk plants in veg right now along with a couple of bagseed I picked up.. that I am hoping turn out female.

I also have 6 feminized seeds on the way, all different strains.

1x Church
1x Blue Cheese
1x Whiteberry
1x DP Blueberry
1x Pure Gold
1x Blue Venom

Im hoping to get a few good mothers out of the bunch.. and I plan on keeping them small with plenty of clone sites so I can mix up the strains every few weeks.

Im waiting on my TD-150 fan that should be here on thurs before I start building. I got my cooltube yesterday and Im excited as hell!

got everything I ordered, plus a free fem Blue Venom and fem Diesel.

Awesome line-up you have there!! I am sure you'll be very happy with the 400!(<--what did you pay for that?)
That is also a great looking cured bud---and by cfl??<---not much exp w/those.
Did you get your fan yet and is it going to be enough?--- I see I better go look at your other journel as most of the ?'s are probably answered there(what soil/nutes you use etc..).

I got my fan late last week the box should be complete on thurs.. I have just ordered more supplies poly, mylar, a ph tester with up n down.. a clone tray with dome.. some wrapped cubes for clones.. and some clone gel.

I will keep you all updated!

and btw, its not cured yett.. i just cut it yesterday.

So I was looking around my shed for things I could incorporate into my grow room, and I found these two cages that my family used to a rabbit or something lol. I figured since one was two small, and two on top of eachother was too high... I cut a section from the top cage and am planning on securing it to the blue one. That will be the frame for my Veg chamber. That will house my clones and hopefully four mothers in square pots on either sides of the cloner.

Im gunna mount one of my 200w enviros directly in the middle of that frame and I hope it will be enough to start the clones and veg some healthy moms.

In the middle is where I am putting my DIY aerocloner.

Do you think I have enough bubbles?

Theres one large pump for up to a 100gal tank and a smaller one for a tiny tank.

also do you think theres enough height for mother plants? All small indica strains.

.......whata are the measurements of that cage? It's kind of hard to tell for sure but looks pretty small......but I am sure it can/will work; just keep'm extra small...are the measurements at in the first post w/this veg unit?

That's an 'aero-cloner?'<--do you mean bubble cloner? A few things will help. First, you dont want it clear so light can get through. I used bubblers for years and just now am on my first run with a diy aero-cloner. With the bubbler I think you'll want the water to have more depth. I am not sure how you are planning to do your cuttings but I always had the water level to just beneath the lid so my cuttings were always in the h2o and by the water having more depth the air bubbles sread out a bit better than when shallow..... But you have plenty of air going in there, just, imo, not enough water for it to become as oxygenized as it needs....... making any sense?? I am rambling.....
I think your with a good choice of light since you wont be wanting too fast of growth; the cfl's with produce tight nodes and heavy veg......

yes, it is a bubble-cloner.. and I will be covering the clear tub. As for the water line.. I have always heard the purpose of the bubbles is to pop and give just the right amount of water and oxygen to the roots, without submerging the stem.
