Sup everyone. This is a grow journal starting from the harvest of a 16 plant crop of The Purps and O.G kush+Blue satelite(8 of each), moving into the planting of the next crop. Its about 87% organic nutes in soil with genetics bought online from B.C Bud and D.J Shorts(Dr. Chronics seeds).Dr. Cronic sent seeds fastest ever.
EQUIP= 2, 400w watercooled hps lamps for flowering- 1, 440w 4 foot 8 bulb T5 floursants for veg- 1 Sentinel CHHC 1 atmosphere controller (controls temp, co2, humidity an exhaust fans=SWEET)- 1/3 hp Polar Bear water chiller for the watercooled lamps- 1 homemade aeroponic cloner. (PICS #1-4)
NUTES= House & Garden of Van De Zwaan soil a&b nutrients- roots excelerator-dark energy-Big Bud-purple maxx-Great white powder-Vegan compost tea-Finisher-Shooting powder- tap water.
THE HARVEST=I planted 5 og+blue satt and 5 Purps seeds an got 1 good og mother an 2 good purps mothers. Cut 8 clones of each an 2 an a half months later harvested these beauties. I got 2 pheno types of the Purps. 1 was very purple color with a high calxyl to leaf ratio an smell like skunky purple. The other is more green with fatter less dense buds, lower calxyl to leaf ratio an smell like grape jolly rancher. The og is very dense, big, an smells like kush poison. I used a 30x jewlers loupe to check trichomes. Harvested at 10th week w/ just a few ambers. I coulda let them go another week but they were too heavy an lots of material waiting to flower. THE FUTURE= 8 more clones og an 8 more of the Purps(4 of each phenotype, last 5 pics) This is my first run in the cloner and they look great. Used 100 ml of clonex in the water an it took 3 weeks but roots were at least 10 inches.(Last 2 pics) I just left them alone but it took longer to get roots then I expected. I had time though.
I just ordered an received 4x4 hut as a 2nd new flowering room and am making new clones tommorrow. That will take my total to 32 plants. Im going to overflow cool co2 rich air from 1 flowering room into the other. Feel free to ask any questions and stay tuned cuz it should be fun.
