Whats up guys!

So here we are at that time of year where everybody is turning off the lights and fans, and moving outside.

I will be joining you all there, but i figured i would keep tweaking my room at the same time..... hopefully I can keep the temps right.

My plan for this round is a SOG using:

• Lights: 2x 400 Watt MH
• Strain: PPP
• Nutes: Fox Farm Trio.
• Medium: Hempy (perlite/vermiculite)
• Seed or clone: Clones....lots of them!!

I plan to try a small scale perpetual harvest, starting at my mother plants, Which are:

• Whit Widow
• PPP
• Northern Lights
• Violator Kush

and going with longer clones, around 7-8 inches in Rockwool Cubes, or propagation plugs, and then moving them into flower directly from the dome.

I plan to transplant clones every two or three weeks, i'll see how it works out, and eventually alternate between strains every two weeks......creating a flow of a variety of sweet nuggs!

But for now, i am limited to the PPP only until my mothers finish filling out......which they have been doing nicely!!!


So, while i wait for:

• my outdoor girls to get out of the dome,
• my mothers to finish filling out for cutting,

I'll be waiting on my last crop to come out of the paper bags and go in the jars....or my bong!!LOL!!

Well ya might not have to wait too long!!LOL!!
I cleared out my trays today and re-filled them. Cut 8 PPP and 4 VK, put them in 24 hrs dark for their first night in the dome.
Now we wait for roots......and more clones to be ready.

****(Meanwhile back in the room)****
I think i may change this grow a bit after watching the plants the last few days.
I noticed the growth is a little slow on a PPP after a cutting, the WW on the other hand is exploding with new shoots....everywhere!

The VK was a little slow re-cooping from it's topping last week, but got the four clones from it, so i'm not complaining.

The NL, isn't so happy with being topped, and is a little droopy. I'm sure it will pull throough!

So with all this going on, and my mothers at different sizes...........Including bringing home a new addition yesterday
(Himalayan Gold Clone)!!!

My plan is this.... I now have 8 PPP, 4 VK clones in dark and will begin rooting tommorrow. When they show roots, i will transplant and have to vegg a minute, clones were'nt as long as I thought, about 5 inches, but then go into flower.
At which point i will cut all the WW clones I can, and start them rooting, when they are ready i will transplant them into flower, again taking new clones from another strain......I know, I know!!!!

Many people say you cant do a SOG or perpetual harvest with different strains, but i wanna see if I can!
I decided this because i found my clones seem to take about two weeks in the dome, to show good roots, and show new growth. Leaving me plenty of time to allow the next one in line for the cutting session to grow out more for better clones.
So if i have about 10-12 plants....these being in SOG and would be in my Red plastic hempy cups.That means more plants per square foot in my dual light box!
But still alot of room to add more red cups. Maybe allowing me to get more frequent harvest.........

I promise soon there will be pics of the moms, but don't want to show the droopy one....

I'm pumped, cant wait to do this.......

im liking your ideas. i dont see why you cant do it with different strains, its just going to be more work. you sound like me, always busy. i def. want to see how this turns out now.
i must have about 15 different going right now, and out of 12 reg. seeds only 2 males. so im running out of room fast. on day 19 of 12/12.

Hey smoke,
As i think to my last round with PPP and WW side by side, in a SOG setup, were the same height by the time i got done.

WW is said to double maybe triple in stretch during flower, but stayed level with the PPP all the way.

The only concern is the final results with the VK, or NL.....or even the Himalayan gold i just got. Thats why i may stick to the PPP and WW in alteration until i see how the VK clones come out.

I may take a clipping of the HG to become the new mother for that, buying me time on space issues, and put the current clone outside.....watched a video that said it could possibly give 1 1/2 LB per outdoor.

Too many strains all at once!!

my hym. gold is about 32" tall i think. has been topped once and has a lot of branches. i think im going to be pleased with the outcome. is it your first hym. gold?
i dont have anyplace to keep mothers over the winter so i use seed, take some clones and grow everything. then shut down for winter. i took a bunch of clones and should be rooted in a week or so. i have no idea what to do with them. either they will go outside or i will give them away.

i like variety in my stash, so i can pick and choose my meds for whatever is needed at the time. why do you say too many strains all at once? i just had so many diff. i wanted to try, and really didnt plan on this many fems.

yes this is my first HG, I said too many cuz i am over filling my mother chamber with too many strains, i am going to have to expand soon!!LOL!!!
