Default Jacks First Grow
Ok soo here we go, first i had a small little sativa at my buddies house he was growin but after a LOOONG rain and flooding it looked dim and grim for this little fella, but i had hope so i transplanted it to a small pot and brought it home to care for (hopefully back to health, this was about hrmmm a little shy of a week ago) lower petals browned out and i snipped off one that was takin away nutrients to the green upper leafs, while it looked doomed i grabbed a bag of my saved seeds, (i have no idea what kinds i planted but im not too worried seein as how i love to smoke pretty much all types) and planted in the same pot (prob a bad idea seeing as how now the transplanted might survive and roots might tangle) and im EXCITED to say the seedling has sprouted and is now bout an inch and a half above soil, i have 4 other seeds in idk what they're called but its wrapped soil in a box for germinating and all have sprouted root, and i have like 5 others germinating in my closet, now i know that i might've started way too many for just personal enjoyment, but im takin into consideration of possible males, i dont have my materials for the DWC i wanted to make, so it looks like this is gonna be an all natural grow, if i can find my cam, ill snap some photos, and put them up.

any advice for the natural grow process is highly appreciated and requested.

thanks and ill update when there is change.

One thing.....

A leaf shriveling up lower down on the plant is not taking nutrients from healthy green leaves. It's actually the opposite, healthy leaves are draining older leaves for sugars to convert to whatever substance the plant is missing. Removing shriveling up leaves will simply force the plant to draw sugars from the next leaf, which may be much healthier than the one you removed. Better to figure out what imbalance exists in your medium, fix it and then remove the leaves. If your fix works, no more leaves should change color.

Good luck with the grow!

Your gonna want to separate those two soon, the sooner the better, before the small one gets its roots too intertwined with the big one.

Are you feeding them yet?

Got your PM. Need more info like lighting, watering, etc. Regarding plant foods, you should have 2 kinds, one a high N food and a Blossom food. Walmart's Expert line is fine.

When you fertilize, the soil should be moist, not dry. Plants like a little fertilizer often, not a big hit once in a while. Osmocote is a good choice as is the slow release organics like blood and bone meal, which I always toss in before potting.

Leaves look yellow, suggesting there is not enough N, but then again, that can be caused by many factors, most likely transplant shock. One plant per pot. If I was you I'd be germinating new seeds in soil using 20 oz styro-cups or 1 gallon pots.

Good luck,
UB

natural lighting, and at night i put em under regular florescent, dont have the money for anything bigger, the oldest plant is lookin better, much greener, but the baby next to it shot up TALL, taller than the older, still only baby leafs tho. i think today i'm gonna plant it outside, then the germinated will go into the pot until its big enough for me to be comfortable with it to go outside too.
