Blackberry & Banana Clone to Flower (Flower 3 Weeks)

That thread really is a good read with lots of pictures. It's amazing to watch how FAST these girls grew from clone. It starts all the way back 4 weeks ago when I picked them up and shows my closet setup. Lot's of good info in there.


I am continuing this thread in this section as they are now budding and it's starting to get interesting. Synopsis for those that don't want to read the entire first thread:

I purchased 7 clones from the local dispensary. Claimed to be "Blackberry" and "Banana Kush". I personally think most of these dispensary clones are just hybrid strains made up by local growers. They go ahead and name it what they want.

My previous grow was 2 large plants vegged for 7 weeks and grown in soil. This time I wanted to go completely opposite and try 6 plants vegged for short period just to see what kind of yield I could get in 3 months.

There was a thread on here at one point that I can't find where someone said I could fuck his wife if I could go from clone to smoke in 3 months. I know somebody else remembers that thread... Well here's my attempt.

These plants are now 4 weeks old, Flowering for 3 grown in Hydro using Advance Nutrients SensiGrow (didn't need much of that) and SensiBloom. Also some CarboLoad and Hygrozyme. Other than that, just PH 5.5 - 6.0 purified water and lots of love.

By the way, these bitches haven't lost a single leaf in their battle. Not from the time they were cut from the mothers did they lose a single leaf.

Thanks. I've never seen anyone really try to grow this way without doing SOG. I'm thinking about doing SOG for my next grow, but wanted to get an idea for what the yield is. I would like to add a second 250w HPS for the flowering area so that I can have two lights at two different heights.

I'm starting to think this is going to turn out pretty good. I was hoping to be able to get the same amount as my last grow. About 2 oz's maybe 2 1/2. I don't want to jinx it, but this looks like it may be a bit more than that. I would think that getting 3 oz from a 250w light in 9 weeks total is going to be fantastic!

They are starting to get frosty here after only 3 weeks and 2 days.

Do these look pretty normal for 3 1/2 weeks flowering or do they look a little small? I know the plants are pretty big for only 4 1/2 weeks from clone, but now I'm getting concerned that the buds should look bigger. I have been looking at pictures of some plants from others that are 3 weeks in and they are just more developed than these.

Am I worrying about nothing?

I flushed out the resevoir today. I have been getting a very small amount of nutrient burn for the past two days. I was hoping that they would get over it, but they didn't.

It was about time to flush so I flushed and set the nutrients at 1100ppm. They were creeping up to about 1300. Hopefully this will resolve what appears to just be nutrient burn.

I think that for my next grow I'll upgrade from the 250w light to a 600w. I just want fatter buds, I'm a greedy bastard. I don't know when the next one will be though, I have some security concerns at this point. A few people have found out about my growing so I need to probably take some time off, maybe six months or so to let everyone be convinced I'm through with it. I'll sell the 250w and that should convince them that I'm done.

No, pictures from this journal. BTW, new pictures tonight or tomorrow. 4 weeks in now. Buds are starting to look more like weed, but they aren't getting fatter yet. I've also spotted some yellow, so in a hat tip to Graf I'm going to give them a little nitrogen boost in their next feeding. I'll just hand feed once with 1/2 strength SensiGrow. Should green them back up nicely.

Alright 4 weeks into flowering now:

Crystals are going crazy, but the buds don't seem to have gotten as much fatter as I was hoping they would during this week. I still think they look pretty good, but I hope these girls plump up a bit. Might be the trade-off for not vegging.
