hey doog - you said you were using the lucas formula. do you use tap water or distilled? i just started lucas b/c i was having to chase ph and my plants were suffering from a mag or cal deficiency using 3 part GH and tap water with 250ppm and 7.5ph.
lucas is working great but when i mix it with distiller water the ph drops to 4.9 and i have to use a lot of ph up to get back to 5.7 range. do you experience this also?

True Lucas formula has no additives and I am using KoolBloom. That being said I am a big fan of Lucas.

I use tap water. My tap is about 75ppm so it is pretty good. It surprises me to hear that you get mg def using GH 3 part. There is plenty of cal/mg in there.

My guess is you have some PH lockout going on. If you lockout nutrients with PH that is too high or too low it will look like def but really is not. My PH always comes out to 5.8, I PH UP to 6.5 for watering soil.

Day 22
600PPM - 2ml/gal FNG, 10ml/gal KoolBloom, drop Superthrive, 5ml PH UP/gallon to 6.5. 1 gallon per plant.

Cruising right along. Almost 1/2 way. Runnoff is over 2000ppm. Not surprising with the pk booster. Will give just water next time and will flush if burn appears.
Now for the pics. Lots o changes in the last 6 days.

About day 20 or so. I got baby trics all over now.

Ladies look good. a few yellowing lower leaves on WB2 but they are getting no light so I expected that.
