Good question. He might be talking about the hyroton on top of the soil to control evap.

Sweet, checked my girls last night and they are already starting to cloud up. Could be harvesting one late next week, has about 5% amber now

Is it rule of thumb to wait till most all the leaves turn yellow before harvesting? I don't understand the ambers thing,What are we looking for?
