All rigth team let me tell you how it is ...i got a closet about 3feet deep 7 long and id say 5 high.in my closet there is a 125watt mini blaster compact fluorescent light paid way to much for it but thats what happens when your local hydro store owner is a crack head... nice guy tho.. i planted my seeds from germ on april 2nd i have 9 plants said to say three died.. they are currently id say 4 inches tall the roots are strong (did a transplant to some bigger pots 2 days ago) today the 15 of april i started to lst on the first set of leaves that came out... now there is 3rd set of leaves and i would like to stretch that steam out of there as fast as possible does anyone have ne tips... my light is 10 to 12 inch from the top of my plant while its in lst mode lol is the rigth? and i also switched my timer today from 20/4 to 18/6 is this maybe a good idea i will have pics on here in a few hours... i also have a hygro meter its a 7 dollar one for a lizard tank but it will work.. where is best place for it and what should it be reading ? thanks yall pics in a bit

I would keep the light as close as possible or they will stretch on you. Also be careful of the temps and gnats

sounds like you need to do some reading man..theres plenty of grow books.videos..google.utube can help you out quite a bit.and theres tons of info how to grow in here..do some research man..just type what your looking for in the search forms..tons of info...
newbies have tons of questions..understandable..but you should at least try to help yourself first. not just put a seed in the ground and ask a million questions..thats like getting behind a wheel of a car and not knowing which pedal is the gas...
and im not trying to be a smartass.it comes natural from what the girl tells me lol, no 2 grow rooms are the same..forget what you learned and learn your plants...and remember freash air is your friend..
and to answer your question..stick it near the plants...hot air rises..u wanna know what the temp and humidity is where your plants are.
temp should be between 65-75.if it gets hotter.make sure they have plenty of water...
u shouldnt have to worry much with cfls..keep them as close as possible. shouldnt be anymore than a 15% decrease in temp when lights are off.
the humidity should be around 60%,80% is even ok.plants thrive on high humidity.
when budding keep the humidity around 50% or lower.lower is better then.
they are young yet..the lighting hours are ok..18/6.20/4 whatever your heart desires.
u can start adding some nutes if ya wanna..only do 1/4-per gallon tho right now..dont over do it.if you mix it a lil weak,you wont have to worry bout killing your plants at this stage.
as they get bigger.up the dosage to 1/2 and so on...
that dont seem like much light for how big your closet is..that closet is a double door right??,if so.it looks like what im thinking it does..make sure you have some kinda reflector on the top of that light.to shed the light to your plants..otherwise most your light is escaping,cfls lumenins come from the side of the bulb.not the bottom like regular light bulbs..
id at least put a black tarp half way in the closet..get a couple more lightsin there when they start to get bigger..veg room.and a flowering room. would already be setup.

oh ya..def get a fan in there,put it on low for the time being..so the plants get some fresh air,on them..and with them blowing a bit..will help the stems be stronger to hold up them big buds we all want..

yeah that was a bug help i do have a fan on there i keep it on full tho with the closet door cracked it is a double door but one door is taped shut so light doesnt get out.. i do have a question tho about humidity ITS HUMID AS A MOTHER FUCKER IN THERE RIGHT NOW its over 90 and i dont know how to change that..

Not sure about those white spots. maybe it can be burns from nutes, whats kind of soil are you using? It may have already had nutes in it. im going to be growing NL x Shiva too. just got my seeds this week, i will be following your grow. good luck. maybe if you can get some higher quality pics we can see better. It can also be spider mites, i read somewhere you see white spots first wich i think are the eggs or somthing. like i said try to get a better pic, use the "macro setting" on a camera, if you dont have one borrow a friends or somthing.
