The Goods:
- 600W HPS w/ hortilux bulb
- Fox Farm Big Bloom
- Superthrive
For Veg: Alaska Fish Fertilizer 5-1-1
For Flower until flush: Bonide fish emulsion 2-4-5
Soil: Fox Farm Ocean forest w/ castings and perlite
Light Cycle: 20/4

4/15/09:
- Germinated my 5 seeds and honestly they dont look like much i've gotten other seeds such as A.M.S. from greenhouse and they look a lot better. I'm kinda worried i paid a lot for these and have high hopes. I got them from the Doc and the way they were packaged i might have chipped 1 getting them out. If all goes well i am going to try to reach 30-40 of them.

- I will have pictures up as soon as they germinate check back tommorow or the next day hopefully

4/29 (day 14 from seed)
A few updates....my plants look healthy somewhat i think i've come across a hermie. so my success rate was 4 out of 5. The other plants seems to be doing fine. I recently found some spidermites around my soil so i sprayed some garden safe insect repellant for fruits and veggies. Seemed ineffective i found more of the pricks today hangin out around the pots..from what i've read once you have them they never go away. If i feel like its necessary within the weeks i will buy lady bugs but for now i am controlling the problem somewhat.
-I will spray with insect repellent every week or 2.
-But so far my plants look like they are almost at their peak veg stage.
Right now they've just been getting 500 ml of water or less mixed with superthrive.
I am thinking about using a heavy feeding of big bloom soon prolly not the next feeding but the feeding after, see how my plants react. For now hear are some pics --comments will be appreciated--

hey guys week 4 of my grow now. I was wondering if anyone knew what the yellowing at the tips of my one flower is and how i can make it green again. Right now i just give my plants 1ml/gl superthrive along with a regular feeding of foxfarms BB and a heavy feeding of that every week. The others seen to be doing fine. comments appreciated thanks

Hey guys im now into day 42 of my grow it seems like it was a ghost town on this site for a while. I posted a problem tonight and it came back pretty quick so maybe i will give this site a shot again

Anyway, im on day 42 and everything seems to be going ok im kinda paranoid because me a first time grower didnt know about not spraying your leaves and buds during flower and i would spray my buds pretty good with water and superthrive every other day when i would water/feed my girls. So i started seeing some white spots and thought it may be mold but maybe salt buildup or just from the superthrive? I dunno everyone please tell me what they think...

Right now I am giving my plants 850ml every other day(1ml/gl superthrive. 4 Tbsp/gl Big bloom)
and every week a heavy feed of the big bloom(about 100ml/gl)

....And i was misting my plants pretty good with water and superthrive But am going to discontinue that to prevent mold or budrot....

Here are some Pics please comment and tell me what you think. If they look healthy and what not....

Did you use the same 20/0 light cycle through the whole time. How long did it take from start to finish and how long were you able to tell if it was a male or female. Im waiting for the seeds soon and I'm going to try it in my aerogarden

Yess i used the 20/0 lightcycle and i plan on using it till the end. It took about 2 1/2 weeks from seed to tell its sex. I plan on growing it till 11 weeks, flushing it with clearex the last week and the last two days leaving the lights off to see if it maximizes resin production.

I have grow a lot of auto flower strains,and i suggest you that you use the light cycle 18/6! they love it&the yield is much bigger! see yaa

BTW:nice plants you have there!Could be better with SYLVANIA GRO_LUX Hps

It has a little(30%) blue spectrum in it to

4 better performance

They have 250watt,400watt,600watt&1000watt

The same lights they have in MH

(metal halide to!)But gro-lux is tha bomb 4 any time of growing,veg.or flower stages

Your main stem looks kind of thin for day 42. Do u have a oscillating fan on them and if u do is it on the highest speed? Also heres a link to my lr2 journal.

Mine is at day 21 of flowering on a t5 red spectrum flourescent light.
